-Epilogue- Hesitate

Isa let's put a shaky breath, looking herself up and down in the mirror. She runs her hand along the white satin dress she was wearing. The simple gown hugging her curves, a modest neckline and her back a little exposed. She looked outside of the hotel window, she saw the hotel staff making the beach ready for their ceremony. 'Mommy I'm ready' Joey said as he walked into the room. Isa turned around, her smile reached her eyes as she saw her handsome little boy walk into the room. She kneeled down, Joey hugged Isa, his arms around her neck as he squeezed her. 'You look really pretty mommy, daddy is so lucky' Isa felt the tears in her eyes, letting out a chuckle. 'Thank you buddy, you look very handsome'. Joey proudly twirled to show Grace his outfit 'I need to impress the ladies, grandma' all the women in the room laughed at the little man who took after his father. Grace put her fingers through his hair 'You sure are going to get a lot of attention baby'. Michelle came into the room 'Come on why don't we give mommy and grandma some time alone, we'll go see grandpa' Michelle took Joey's hand and everyone left the room. Giving Isa and Grace some time together. Isa sat in front of the mirror, grace stood behind Isa ' I want to give you something, I wanted to give this to Michelle when she got married, but she told me to give it to you first' Grace put a beautiful gold necklace around Isa's neck. 'Now you have something old and something new' Isa grabbed the simple, gold pendant. 'Thank you Grace, I don't know how to thank you' Isa said as she turned around so she was facing Grace. 'For what darling? I have done nothing special?' Isa was trying to breathe away the tears, to not ruin her make up. 'You have welcomed me into your family, you have treated me like I am your own. You have given me the love that I could only imagine of getting from my own parents. And you gave me Daniel and I'm so grateful for him and for you guys. You are my only family and I couldn't wish for a better one, so thank you' Grace wiped her own tears away. 'Honey, we love you and if anyone should be thankful it should be me, because you made my dear son so happy, you gave me a wonderful grandson and you made our family whole. But enough tears, this should be a happy day. Are you ready? I got a message that they are ready for you' Isa nodded and took graces' hand as they walked down to the beach. Just before Isa would step out to be revealed to Daniel she was stopped for one last make up check. Grace went to her seat at the front and Joe was waiting for Isa at the door 'It is an honour that I get to give you away sweetheart' Isa blushed and gave Joe a gentle kiss on his cheek. The music played and the doors openend to reveal Isa to their friends and family. Daniel and Isa's eyes locked. Daniels breath stopped slightly as he couldn't believe that the gorgeous woman who was walking towards him would be his wife. Isa saw a tear trickle down his face and she couldn't believe how lucky she was to land such a handsome man. When they reached Daniel, Joe gave Isa a kiss on her cheek and hugged Daniel. Isa grabbed Daniels hands as they faced each other. They didn't hear the words that were spoken, they were lost in their own world. It was like they were having a conversation with their eyes. As the rings were called for Joey jumped out of his seat ' I have them! Mommy, daddy, I have the rings, look! ' laughter was heard as Joey handed the box with the rings to Daniel, Joey went back and sat down again with Grace. They slid the rings on each other's fingers and they kissed as soon as they heard the famous words 'You may kiss the bride' The newly wed couple shared a long kiss before pulling away, their foreheads touched 'I love you mr. Ricciardo' Daniel grinned at her ' I love you, very much, mrs Ricciardo'. They pulled away and walked along the beach to were their dinner was being held. Joey ran after his parents and tugged on his dads pants signalling for him to pick him up. 'Are we a real family now?' Joey asked his parents a bit confused by the wedding. 'We were always a real family darling, now it just means we will be a family forever' Isa told their son.

The dinner was cozy and romantic, a long table filled with just the most important people in their life. They had great food and the desert was delicious. The band played some jazzy songs in the background when there was an announcement made by Grace' Now would be the father daughter dance of the evening, as most of you know, Isa doesn't have her biological father in her life and as this is one the most important days in a woman's life to have her father here, we have something special for her. So Isa if you would make your way to the dance floor please.' Grace finished as the band began to play one of Isa's favourite songs. Isa felt a bit uncomfortable, she was stood alone in the middle of the dance floor as Joe came on the dance floor and asked Isa to dance with him. Isa put her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder. 'Thanks for being the dad I never had Joe, it means the world to me' Isa whispers in his ear. 'It is my pleasure darling you are our third child if you didn't know by now' Isa lifted her head of his shoulder as he wiped the small tear from the corner of her eye. Isa felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to face Michael, Daniels trainer. As he was Daniels trainer for many years now, him and Isa created an special bond, which mainly consisted of taking a piss at Daniel. 'Thank you Michael, for everything' she gave him a kiss on his cheek as the next man stepped in for his time to dance with Isa. Max was one of Daniels best friends, in the f1 paddock and outside of the racing world even if he was a few years younger than them. 'You made him so happy Iz, we as his friends can't thank you enough' Isa couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by all the amazing men in her life. If it wasn't for Daniel, she wouldn't have met them. ' I should be the one thanking him because he gave me all of you'. Max smiled at her, taking a napkin out of the pocket of his suit jacket and handing it to Isa, she chuckled and took it from him to make sure her mascara didn't run down her face. Isa then felt someone tug on the bottom of her dress ' Mommy, it is my turn to dance with you'  . Isa turned around to see her son standing there. She picked him up and hugged him close to her. 'I love you baby, I couldn't whisk for a better son' Joey wiped some of her tears away, ' don't cry mommy you should be happy because we love you all very much and we want to see you happy and smiling' Isa's heart was full and she couldn't help but cry a little harder. 'I am happy baby, these are tears of joy not sadness, don't worry'. The two swayed together for a little while when the last man in line stood behind Isa 'excuse me sir, can I take this beautiful lady for a dance please' the two turned around to look at the man and Joey giggled 'Silly daddy, this is no beautiful lady, this is beautiful mommy. You can dance with her as long as you promise that we will dance together later, the three of us!' Daniel nodded at his son, before Isa sat him down and he ran to his grandparents. Isa and Daniel watched him as he sat on his grandfathers lap. 'Thank you Daniel, this was the most beautiful gesture anyone could have ever made. I love you. I can't thank you enough for giving me this, a family, a feeling of being loved' Isa looked into Daniels eyes. 'You need to stop thanking people darling, we want to give you the world because you deserve it. You give us so much back, you don't need to give us anything but you presence' Daniel whispered to his beautiful wife as he gave her a kiss. ' I have one more surprise for you though, as we're confessing things right now' Daniel looked confused at Isa and the two stopped dancing. Isa took his hand and put it on her stomach, ' I'm pregnant Daniel, we are having a baby again'.
