Isa woke up from laughter in the kitchen. She sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, surprisingly feeling fresh and well rested. She looked at her phone and saw that is was well past nine o'clock in the morning which meant she slept in. She threw the covers away and put one of Daniels shirts over her naked body. She wandered around the house to try and find her family, which she found in the kitchen. She stood in the doorway, leaning against the wall. She could see the table, which was on the back porch, full of food, drinks as well as some flowers and presents. She smiled as she looked into the kitchen. Joey was stood up on a stool, torso naked and pyjama pants on his lower body, the exact image she saw when she looked at Daniel, who was helping their three year old daughter mix batter for what she could only assume was pancake mix. The two year old girl sat on the counter in between her dad and her older brother and she spotted her mom when she wasn't interested in the pancake batter anymore. 'Mommy! Happy birthday!' Lola squealed as she saw her mother. She want to jump off the counter but as she was so small Daniel sat her on the ground. Daniel turned to Joey 'she always does this aye, waking up when we want to surprise her with breakfast' Daniel says to Joey in a playful tone. Lola reached up for her mother and gave her a big hug and kiss ' look what we did mommy, we have presents an ballons for you and I am making the best pancakes ever!' Isa smiled at her daughter. 'I see, did you do all of this or did the boys help you a little' Lola put her pointer finger and her thumb close to each other ' they only helped this much, but i have to go back to my pancakes to make sure those two don't mess them up. Down please mommy' Isa smiled at her two year old daughter who had a strong opinion already. Isa walked over to the boys and wrapped her arms around Daniels torso 'Happy birthday love' Daniel whispered to her while he sat Lola back on the counter. Isa gave Daniel a kiss on his back as she moved over to Joey who was carefully cutting some strawberries. 'Mommy, I made you some coffee, go and sit down in the backyard we will come with all the food once we are ready, go on there has to be some surprise still'. Isa put her arms up in surrender and picked up the cup from the counter. She walked out to the back porch where the large table was stood in the shadow. It was already very hot but the shade which hung over the porch was nice. She sat down in the chair that was decorated with balloons and silly string, assuming it was for her. She overlooked the garden, she sometimes still couldn't believe that she and Daniel bought this beautiful house, backyard overlooking the sea. The morning air in Perth was warm but nice and she couldn't wait for this day to begin. She had to do some groceries later for the dinner she needs to make when the family would come over. It was nice to know that Daniels parents lived 5 minutes of walking distance away and Michelle was just a short car ride removed from the family. They would all have a nice birthday dinner and the kids would play around the neighbourhood.

As the kids ran around the backyard, Isa sat down on Daniels lap, they watched T he kids who happily chased each other. Daniels hands wrapped around her waist as he kissed her neck. 'I'm really happy right now Dan, I couldn't wish to spend my birthday in any other way. I love you'

As it was a nice day, the family decided to go to the race track. As soon as Joey turned five, Daniel bought him his first go kart, now being seven, Joey was full on racing with his dad as his coach. Isa was sitting on the side of the track with Lola, they were enjoying the sun when all of a sudden they were met with shadow. The two girls openend their eyes and Lola jumped up 'Grandma! I missed you! We were su.. sunba.. , what was the word again mommy?' Isa chuckled at her daughter 'sunbathing, we were sunbathing honey'  Grace sat down next to Isa, taking Lola on her lap. 'Happy birthday Iz' Grace patted her leg and laid down. 'You are coming over for dinner right?' Grace asked, while bouncing Lola up and down. 'Yeah, we would like that, I just hope that Joey will be in a good mood after the race or we will have a cracky one at home' Isa giggled as she thought about the tempered boy after a race he had lost. 'Mommy can we go to the track, the race is about to start and I want to see Joey!' 'Sure honey, pack up your stuff and we'll GO'. As the three woman approached the truck were Daniel and Joey were working, they spotted Joe who was helping to prepare the kart. 'Hi grandpa' Lola hugged his legs before letting go and walking over to Joey 'Jo, come give me a hug, be careful and I love you! You can do it!' The adults watched as Joey hugged his little sister. Isa got butterflies in her stomach and smiled looking over at Daniel who had a massive grin on his face as he watched the sweet exchange between the siblings. It made Isa want another baby but she and Daniel discussed that they were in good place right now with the four of them.

Lola sat on top of Daniels shoulders as she cheered dit her brother who was stood on the highest podium. 'Baby, don't pull daddy's hair that hard please' Daniel said to his daughter which made Isa smirk at Daniel. She leaned up 'that isn't what you said last night' she whispered in his ear and Daniel blushed at her. Joey came running towards his parents once the podium ceremony was over. They all told him how proud they were as they made their way towards the house of Grace and Joe.

YEARS LATER
'Mom, I told you to take it easy, what do you need, i will get it for you' Isa huffed at her now seventeen year old son. Crossing her arms over her chest. I just want to grab that bag of chips but I can't reach it' she stepped back so Joey could get it for her. 'Go sit on the couch and I will bring it to you in a minute' Isa sat down on the couch, her hand rubbing over her 9 month old pregnant stomach as she put her feet up on the coffee table. This baby was surely not plannend but very welcome anyway, as their two kids were seventeen and thirteen. Lola came into the room and laid down on the couch. Her head on Isa's lap and her feet dangling of the side of the couch. Isa stroked her head, seeing a smile on her daughters face which she kinda recognised. 'What's going on with you baby' Lola tried to hide her smile 'nothing.. ' Isa knew that smile all to well and Lola didn't want to hide from her mother. 'Mason asked me out on a date' Lola said and her face went all red. 'Really! That is so exiting!' Isa was happy for her daughter but of course she knew that there was a boy in Lola's life, she was her mother after all and she knew Lola all too well. 'He will pick me up on Friday evening, if that is alright?' Isa couldn't help the smile on her face. 'Of course sweetheart, but maybe don't tell your brother and dad yet, alright? You know how they can get..' Isa said in a teasing tone. 'Why can't we know who is picking you up on Friday?' Daniel asked as he walked into the room. Lola groaned 'daaad, don't do this please'. 'If someone is taking you out on a date I surely want to know this boy, or girl, I don't want to make assumptions'. Isa found it sweet how supportive Daniel was. 'Mason is picking me up Friday and he is taking me to the midgetgolf course up town'. Isa squeezed Daniels thigh to warn him not to say anything. Joey walked into the room with a tray of snacks and drinks setting it on the table. The two teens picked out a movie and everyone sat in front of the tv. 'Are the contractions closer?' Daniel whispered to Isa. 'No not yet, I think it will happen tomorrow' she said to Daniel, laying her head on his chest as she made herself comfortable.

That night Isa woke up with pain in her stomach and abdomen. She tried to make her way to the bathroom as quit and quick as possible. She turned on the light and sat down on the lid of the toilet seat. Daniel woke up from the light coming from the bathroom. 'Darling what are you doing?' Daniel asked in his husky morning voice. He heard grunts coming as he stepped into the bathroom to see Isa in pain. 'Dan wake up the kids, the baby is coming!'.
