Christmas eve at the Ricciardo household was something else. Everyone was wearing matching PJ's and the whole living room was filled with laughter and music. Isa got a warm feeling inside when she looked around the Livingroom. She had helped to prepare some food and was now contently sipping on some wine. Daniel got her a beautiful neckless, the single diamond hanging around her neck. Daniel played with some kids, it made Isa impatient to have one of her own, but she knew that it would be too soon, with Daniels career and all. 

On Christmas day, Jace, Michelle, Joe, Grace,  Daniel and Isa were taking a hike among the beautiful canyons of Perth. 'Dan are you alright? You're shaking and your hands are all sweaty' Isa says while squeezing his hand. Daniel let's out a shaket breath 'yeah, it's just very hot today' Isa shrugs of the uneasy feeling. Everybody was a bit on edge today and Isa couldn't help the feeling that something was happening today. Jace tugged at Isa's hand, the two running ahead of the group while Isa is chasing Jace. When she catches up to him she tickles him and lifts him up in her arms. She kisses him all over his face while he let's out giggles. A smile forms on Daniels face, he can't help but think about Isa being a mom to their own children. He couldn't help but hope that they would get married and have children together. Daniel felt his nerves increase, with shaking hands he put his hand in his pocket, him and Isa walking in front of his family. 'Babe why don't you pose there for a picture, it would look really pretty' Daniel instructs Isa to stand on the empty road, with the canyon as the background. Isa poses with her back to Daniel, 'Dan, have you taken the picture yet, what's taking so long?' Isa turns around and gasped. She looks back at his family, tears in their eyes, Grace holds on to Joe for support. Once she looked in front of her she sees Daniel, sitting on one knee, he is holding a small and beautiful diamond ring in his hand. She covers her mouth with her hands, tears fill her eyes. 'My love, when I met you just half a year ago I instantly fell in love with you. You intrigued me, you captivated me, you loved me. I know it is soon but when something feels this right it can never be too soon. I love you and I know that you love me to. I want you to share your bad days with me, I want you to share you best days with me. I want to have kids with you, I want to see the world with you, I want to spent every day with you knowing that you will never leave my side. You already made me the luckiest and happiest man on this planet by loving me so I can only hope I do the same thing to you. Will you spent forever with me, will you marry me Isa Atwood?' The tears were flowing down Isa's cheeks, how could one man say all the right words to her. How could he have captivated her heart in such a small amount of time. So many people would say it this is way to soon to marry someone. But she didn't care, she helt his heart and he helt hers. His family took her in as one of their own, it was something she only ever could have dreamt of, and to propose in front of his family only made it that much more special. Isa walked towards Daniel, sitting on her knees in front of him. She grabbed his cheeks, smiling at him through her tears. 'I want to be your forever home, I want to wake up everyday knowing I get to spend it with you. I will love you, even if you annoy me with you stupid jokes. YES, I will marry Daniel Ricciardo' Isa pulls him in by his neck and kisses him. His parents and sister cheering for them. They feel a small body wiggling in between them, they pull away letting Jace into their embrace. They peck each other's lips. 'I love you' Daniel whispers to Isa. 'I love you' Isa whispers back as they stand up. Daniel sliding the ring on her finger. 'What do you think Jace, did he do well?' Isa asked the small boy who was clinging onto her neck. 'YES, now I really have the Cooles aunt in the WORLD!' Jace answers exited. They stand up, Michelle hugging Isa 'you made him so happy, we are so grateful of you' she whispers in Isa's ear. Isa hugs Joe and Grace, 'thank you for giving me the best man I could ever ask for, thank you for taking me in and loving me like my parents never got the change to' the confession made Grace cry. 'Baby girl, we should be thanking you' Grace told Isa. They al swooned over the ring Daniel put on Isa's finger. They walked back to where they parked their cars. The family giving Isa and Daniel the privacy to enjoy their moment and rode back in a separate car. Daniel held Isa's hand, kissing her knuckles. 'I have never been happier in my life' Isa says. Daniel just smiles at Isa, this was only the beginning of the wonderful life they would begin together.
