Oh how the tables have turned. If a few days ago it was Officer Langley who's apprehending Harry; now, it's the other way around.

He all but ignores the throbbing of his legs, the strain he felt in his muscles for being curled up in a tight space for too long broke free the moment he starts running for his dear life. Shallow breathing comes out of his mouth, his lungs worn out but he pushes his self further...as far away as he could get from Harry.

The scorching sun stings his skin, leaving a trail of redness all over his exposed skin...but the wind that blows through him as he runs as fast as he could cools his open pores.

The cloud of dusts that his boots leave behind fly low over the ground, mixing with the smoke belching from different vehicles on the road. Every now and again, Officer Langley would look over his shoulder to see if Harry is still following him, his pace still quick and agile...dodging every pedestrian he meets on the way. Same is true with Nina who is so not far behind, but close enough for Harry to reach. She had never quite ran as fast and far before as she does at the moment and she prays so hard that her legs wouldn't give out. The three race with cars and motorcycles on the highway, catching everyone's attention. Nosey bystanders' heads would snap, following their general direction.

Harry pushes his feet against the tarmac with forceful, yet graceful stride. Determination deep-seated on his expression; his brows are furrowed, eyes glued only to the back of Langley and Nina. He wonders why they ran away from him at his apartment...but more than that, he wonders why they were there in the first place. If they were not doing anything wrong, they wouldn't just react as if he was a dangerous person. It's not like he was going to kill two innocent people just for the sake of doing it. To hell, he couldn't do that.

He was just asking them what they were doing in his house, right? What if they were his guest and he had just forgotten like he normally does every fifteen minutes. Strange...

Nina takes the path straight ahead. The young officer, however, takes a different route, turning the corner by the crowded intersection. He looks over his shoulder again and is horrified to see that Harry is still apprehending him...far, but still chasing him in hopes to encapture him again. He doesn't notice the bus that is fast approaching. The realization dawns on him a bit too late because just as he turns his head to look where he is going, the large vehicle is already right at his face. And just like that, Officer Langley's body crashes against the hard metal and the great impact sends him tumbling back, the back of his head hits the concrete ground and leaves a large crack on his hard skull -- only it wasn't hard enough to resist the force of which the young man unintentionally reckoned with.

The people who witness the accident huddle around him, catching everyone else's attention and even those that are still inside their respective cars as they drive by, worsening the traffic jam. The passengers climb off of the bus one by one, taking in the scene with horrified expressions on their faces. Langley's body is just a heap of bone and flesh now on the ground...unmoving, lifeless, swimming on his own pool of blood.

The curly lad looks around his populated surrounding...around himself -- frowning, wondering where on earth could he possibly be; who he is, why he is in the middle of the road. He watches the different vehicles pass by with him in the middle of the chaos. Darting his sight to the commotion, Harry advances to the scene where the crowd circle the dead body laying on the cold ground.

He squeezes through the crowd until he's inside the circle, frowning at the vacant face of the crash victim and attempting to gain recognition of him but to no avail. He even feels sorry for the young officer and thought of the different charges the bus driver is bound to face for his death.
