It was already dark when the two decided to call it a day. The moon has shown its full glory, occupying the best portion on the skyline of Chicago city, over various skyscrapers that dare reach its throne but their attempts remain foible. The stars guarding around its nonpareil beauty shining like it's their last night.

The melodious laughter of the pair just below is drowned out by the noise of the vehicles rushing about on the streets. Lights of different colors coming from different buildings guide their steps on the pavement. The city is amusingly still alive no matter what time of day. Or perhaps it's just because it's a Saturday night.

"Did you see his face?" Charlie muses to Harry and he nods. Their wide grins are deep-seated on their faces. The two are having so much fun.

"You are so rude. They were in the middle of making out and you called his attention just to ask for the time?" Harry laughs, shaking his head in disbelief.

"What? It was funny." Charlie doubles over in laughter, squeezing her eyes -- tears forming at the corners -- and clutching her stomach. "The girl looked like she wanted to eat me alive. She was really pissed." She adds in fits of laughter.

"You're crazy," is all that Harry could muster.

Indeed, it was fun terrorizing people who were enjoying a moment of repose with their loved-ones. At first, he was apprehensive about allowing the blonde girl in doing it, but eventually, he thought to hell with it.

He watched as Charlie stood between two burly males looking at various displays in front of a Kiosk. Moments later, the blonde girl whispered to the guy on her right side that the guy on her other side was calling him, and then quickly told the same thing to the other guy. Just as she flees the scene, she heard the two males flustered a “What?” at the same exact time. The exchange between them that followed wasn’t heard by Harry and Charlie as the two scram, disappearing through the mix of crowd before the two males that have the body of bouncers catch them.

The next, Charlie thought it’d be funny if she waved at different strangers that she come across with while they’re feet away from each other, she’d ask how they were doing and right before they open their mouth to answer her, Harry would emerge behind them and answer that he’s been fine. The stranger would scratch their heads, thinking they were the ones Charlie was talking to until proven wrong.

Apparently, Charlie has a different definition of 'fun' and he was a little bit curious as to how everything would arise. He was praying that no one would try to hurt her as he watched on at a distance. But he prepared himself for the worst. He was glad nothing happened and now, they're replaying the people's reaction on their little prank spree like they were reliving their childhood memories.

Oddly, Harry cooperated with the pranks. He isn’t the type of guy to make fun of other people. He’d much rather enjoy humiliating them for their incompetency and failure to perform their duties and responsibilities, but he realized stress was all he can acquire from continuing to do so. At that moment, he knew laughing is far better than sulking.

A bistro across the street catches Charlie’s peripheral vision, “Open Mic Night” in green fonts blinking to attract the attention of people walking by. She tugs on Harry’s wrist all of a sudden, jogging towards the establishment as Harry allows her to drag him along with her.

“Careful, careful. Cars, Charlie, Cars!” Harry yells. His heart is beating out of his chest, unnerved as they dodge cars and motorcycles on their way. Charlie ignores his pleas and made Harry even more terrified by speeding up until they reach their safety.
