Jay was advancing! She knew she was cornered by the athletically gifted, son of Jafar. The girl vaulted herself up, grabbing hold of the guard rails in the arena-- to avoid the swipe of Jay's rapier. She sprung and flipped back onto the ground and away from her opponent. The larger fighter easily shifted his footing and began his more offensive pose.
Jay slashed at the girl, tearing her sleeve in the process. The girl was on the defensive, knowing she would soon have to strike. She threw her leg forward into a front kick, and her foot connected with the boy's sword. The weapon fell to the ground. The girl used her own rapier, and thrashed toward her opponent, manipulating his movements. She led him to the edge of the arena. He shifted into a quick pivot and with a swift back kick to the abdomen, causing the girl to launch backward-- falling to the floor. She'd dropped her own weapon. Her opponent then charged her and picked her up off of the ground, holding her upside down threatening to drop her.
"Damn it, Jay! That's bad form! Put me down!" Cried Raven.
"You said you wanted to hang out." Laughed Jay, making a terrible pun.
"I said, I'd help you train for the fencing match! I didn't agree to be a rag doll. Last chance, Jay-- put me down!" She scolded, warning the boy.
"Not my fault you can't hack it with the big boys." Jay quipped.
At that moment Raven reached down, grabbed Jay's leg, and bit him as hard as she could on the back of his thigh.
"Yeeeouch!!! What the hell, Raven?" Jay cried out in pain.
This caused the boy to drop the Pixie. The girl folded her body into a somersault on the way down and brought herself back to her feet laughing, as he clutched his leg in pain.
The two fencers were joined soon after the squabble by Mal, Evie, Ben, and Carlos. The villain kids from The Isle of the Lost and King Ben of Auradon.
Raven had agreed to work out with Jay, as he was the newly appointed Captain of the fencing team, Swords and Shields. The team was about to have their first match. Raven, who grew up in Neverland surrounded by Pirates, was not only an amazing fighter, but she was also well versed in sword play.
The VKs and the King had a very rare free moment and had come to watch and gather their friends. Raven had put aside her typical pixie dresses for the day; and opted to wear a more traditional workout outfit. A black cropped sweatshirt; an olive green fitted tank top; and black cut out leggings. Her platinum, red, and black streaked hair was in a braided, high ponytail.
"Jay! What did you do to my girlfriend?" Demanded Carlos, spotting a small cut on the fabric of Raven's sleeve."
"What did I do?" Exclaimed Jay, appalled at his best friend. "I think she drew blood!"
"Did she slash you?" Asked Carlos, the black and white-haired son of Cruella De Vil.
"No! Your crazy chick, bites!" Muttered Jay, still annoyed but calming down.
"Oh, that? Yeah, I know." Quipped Carlos, smiling and wagging his eyebrows, suggestively.
"Oh, gross!" Mal complained.
"Ugh! Like, being bitten wasn't bad enough." Huffed Jay, with a disgusted look.
"You were holding me upside down by my feet!" Defended Raven.
"Did you guys do any actual fencing in here, or did you just spend the day wailing on each other?" Chuckled Ben, knowing how competitive they both were.
Carlos was looking at Raven with lowered eyebrows and shaking his head. His mouth eventually tuned up into a smirk and he laughed at his insane girlfriend.
Raven walked up to Carlos and slithered her arms around his waist looking up at the boy. Her face had a feigned look of innocence as if to say "what? ".
Carlos continued to shake his head and kissed her on the forehead.
