Truly Terrifying

Carlos and Jay were already at the limo, they were waiting on Evie, Ben and Raven. Evie soon came out leading the two disguised Isle kids, and trying to hurry. Ben and Evie exited the school in blue leather Isle outfits, each with their own personal embellishments.

Ben with gold studs, and beast claw slashes, and a black beanie, and Evie with red and gold gems. Carlos chose his spike studded white, black, and red leather jacket and red shorts with black boots. Jay donned his brown leather pants and sleeveless yellow and maroon leather shirt, with his signature beanie.

The girl pulling up the rear was wearing an olive green and tight fitting, hooded crop-top. Her arms donned with black leather kitty sleeves. Her midriff was exposed over her thigh high, black leather skirt with leather lacing. She wore black slashed leggings, and calf- high, forest green combat boots. On her neck was a tight black choker with a pendant of a raven. She had striking green and gold eye shadow and dark liner that brought out the ferocity of her black eyes. She also wore blackish, purple lip color.

Carlos's eyes jumped out of his head and his breath stuck in his throat. Suddenly, he needed air, stunned by the imposter VK walking towards him.

"Alright!" Said Evie, fixing Ben's beanie, "Let's go."

Carlos was still staring at his girlfriend.

"Uh-uh! No. I know that look. Carlos!" Scolded Jay, snapping his fingers in Carlos' face, "C'mon, man-- eyes on the prize, let's go."

Carlos thought his eyes were already on the prize. He had no recollection of why he was supposed to be mad at her. As he stared, he realized that he wasn't mad anymore.

"What?" Raven snapped at Carlos.

But, she was.

"Nothing. Yeah... um... C'mon, Ben! Stop messing around. Let's go." Exclaimed Carlos, as he returned to reality.

Ben threw up his arms and gave him a "what the hell?" face.

They all piled into the limo. Carlos sat next to Raven, wanting to be close to her, for her protection. Raven folded her arms and turned her body away from him.

"Oh, no." Carlos murmured.

"What did I do now?" Raven spat.

"You... you covered your ears... " Replied Carlos, in a calm tone.

He gently moved her hood back from her hair, that was pinned to hide her Pixie features.

"Well, I didn't want to look like a "freaking" Pixie." Raven replied, spitting his words back at him.

"I'm sorry, Black Bird." Sighed Carlos, sincerely. "I didn't mean it like that."

She ignored him.

"I was ticked off, because of Mal. And, I don't want you getting hurt, or worse." Explained Carlos, apologetically.

"Worse?" Asked Raven, wrinkling her nose.

"It's not important. What matters is that, I'm sorry." He apologized, again. "You're a Pixie, and let's be real, it makes you stand out. You're already the most beautiful girl in the world. I just don't want any of them thinking that you're like-- treasure for the taking."

"I get it. I do. You just made me feel like an outsider, and it sucked, okay?" Raven revealed, softening her tone.

"You don't want to be an Isle kid, trust me. It's not like Neverland. It's tough, dirty, and dangerous." Explained Carlos.

"At least Isle danger is out in the open. It's not lurking around trees and caves and from under rocks." Countered Raven.

"You're right...I don't know anything about Neverland or what you had to deal with at home." Carlos admitted.

"Thank you, and I'm not in denial about the fact that-- yes, I'm relatively small. But, you forget that I'm anything but helpless." She replied. "Pixie or not...I'm still a villain.

"You're also the hottest, and most bad-ass, Pixie I know." Expressed Carlos, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"I think you like my VK look a little too much." Teased Raven.

He whispered in her ear, "I'm pretty sure you made my heart stop."

"See? I am dangerous." Raven laughed, raising her eyebrows, expectantly.

"You are truly terrifying." The boy smiled, leaning in to kiss her.

Ben had been witnessing the couple's exchange.

"We're on a mission to bring back one of the most important people in our lives; and the love of my life-- from one of the most dangerous places there is, and...they're making out?" Commented Ben, incredulously shaking his head at the couple.

"Welcome to our world, bro." Joked Jay, with a double meaning as they were heading through the barrier.

"Alright, you guys. Pull apart. Remember, love is weakness here." Reminded Evie.
