"you may now kiss the bride." the marriage officiant says. sparks fly through anthony and i's hands. we smile and quickly connect our lips to share this special moment that i have dreamt of since i was a little girl. that love spark has never faded. with anthony it never ended.

we pull apart and everyone claps and cheers. i stare at anthony and tears run down my face. i watch a tear slip from his eye. we both smile at one another and break out in laughter.

i turn and look at my parents, my mom is hysterical and my dad is trying to hold it in. i look over to the left of me and see my bridesmaids, my sisters, amelie, charli, lydia, and madi. shanti has tears streaming down her face. priya is held together. charli, amelie, lydia, and madi are cheering so loudly.

i look past anthony and see his brothers, josh, and jaden, his groomsmen. i look at his mom and his dad. everyone is so happy in this moment. it feels like it's going in slow moment. i want to stay in this moment for eternity.

"here you have mr. and mrs. gregg-reeves." the marriage officiants announces. i watch everyone gasp. we didn't tell anyone we were planning to hyphenate our last names. i look at anthony and smile so big.

anthony and i walk back the isle hand in hand, away from the ceremony. it's crazy to thing that i walked down that isle not even 2 hours ago a non-married woman and now i'm married to the love for my life. who knew life could get this good?

anthony and i walk into the building because we had our ceremony outside. anthony and i head up the stairs of the venue. we have our party in a few minutes. he opens a door to reveal a dark room. he guides me in and turns on the lights to reveal a beautiful ballroom.

"may i have this dance?" he says while he closes the door and pulls out his phone. i laugh and nod. "of course." i say delighted. he plays 'can i have this dance?' from high school musical. i laugh uncontrollably. anthony grabs my hand and pulls me to the center of the giant empty room.

i lay my hands around his shoulders and play with the back of his collared shirt in my hands and he wraps his arms tightly around my waist. we are close in one another's arms. this moment couldn't be more special.

"do you remember this song?" anthony questions me. "yes of course, we danced on the roof of that building." i say. "it feels like yesterday." anthony comments. i nod. "we aren't those teens anymore." i reminisce. "we are full adults who are married." anthony excitedly exclaims. "we are married." i repeat.

"can you believe we've known one another for 10 years?" anthony says. i shake my head no. "and we've been dating 9. i honestly didn't think we would make it past 5." i say. we both chuckle. "i didn't know i could love someone for that long." anthony adds. "but something about you has always been different." anthony says getting all romantic.

i hear the song end and then hear 'perfect' by ed sheeran and beyoncé come on. i laugh. we sing and dance and enjoy our few moments together.

i lay my head on anthony's shoulder and truly take in the moment. it feels like the whole world just stops and time no longer fighting against us.
