skipping a few days since last chapter!

happy 5 months to my favorite couple♥️

anthony's pov

i'm so happy to be back in LA. i missed the city,  the boys, and avani of course. i arrived in late last night. i just woke up so i'm going to shower and get dressed then i want to surprise avani at her apartment.

i just finished my shower, i put on a pair of black jeans and a sweatshirt. i brush my teeth, do my hair, and put on deodorant and cologne. i put on my socks and shoes and get ready to leave. i plan to stop at the store on the way over and get some snacks for vani.

finally i arrive at her apartment building. i grab the bag of snacks and drinks and put it in my backpack so it's less to carry. i head up to avani's apartment. i'm so excited to see my love.

i stand in front of her door. i smile to myself then i knock at the door. "hello?" i hear avani say from inside the apartment. "ugh, coming." i hear her sigh. i chuckle quietly to myself.

i watch the door open and my eyes meet hers. i watch her face instantly change as she registers who was at her door. she smiles and jumps to hugs me tightly. i hug her little body tightly in my arms.

"i missed you bebe." avani says. i smile and walk into her apartment still holding her in my arms. i close the door behind me and place her back down. "i missed you more." i say as i lean in and connect our lips.

after a few minutes we both pull away. "so how was kentucky?" avani asks while walking over to the couch. "it was alright, nice to see my family. it's still the same as when i last left it." i follow her over and sit on the couch next to her. "oh! here." i reach into my backpack and hand her the snacks that i bought her.

"thanks bebe." avani accepts them and kisses my cheek. we cuddle on the couch and watch a show and talk for a bit.

the episode that we were watching just ended. avani looks at me. i turn to look at her. "i need to tell you something." avani says. i get a nervous look on my face. "no it's not anything bad." she reassures me. "ok?" i say confused.

"while you were gone, you know how i went to the sway house to pick up clothes?" she begins. i nod. she continues. "well i did pick up your sweatshirt but the main purpose of me going was to talk to josh." avani says. i look at her confused again. "well listen to this." she pulls out her phone. i watch and listen to a video of nessa speaking. she is at the hype house.

"the fuck?" i respond. she really claimed that josh abused her... "so i had to talk to josh about that so he knew because if word got out that could ruin this entire life. i know for sure that he did not hit her. but josh talked to nessa and they worked it out and they are friends." avani says. "i didn't want to tell you when this was happening because i didn't want you to worry and feel like you needed to come back." avani explains. i nod.

"are you mad?" she asks me. i shake my head. "of course not bby. i could never be mad at you." i smile at avani. she grins. i watch as her eyes trickle down from my eyes to my lips. i lick my lips and close the gap between our faces.

i pull away and smile. "i love you." i quietly say to avani. she blushes. "i love you more." she tries to top me. i shake my head. "i love you the most." i top her and she chuckles to herself. man i have missed her smile.

after awhile of us just cuddling on the coach. we decide to go on a lunch date, to a little cafe down the street. simple and easy. "i'm going to get ready." avani says then runs to her room to change. i sit on my phone and wait for her.

avani walks out wearing red corduroy pants and a black top. she's so pretty. i stand up and smile. she smirks at me. "let's go!" she says. i grab my backpack and my phone. avani does the same. we both put on shoes then leave her apartment. we walk down the street to this little cafe.
