on the road to dallas, texas!

anthony's pov

i awake to the bus stopping. i get up and see it's still dark outside. i leave avani, she is fast asleep. i walk up to the front area and see we are at a rest stop. i just shrug and walk back to the bunks. i see chris walking. "hey man, why did we stop?" he asks me. "we're at a rest stop." i say. "let's run in and get some stuff." he says. i agree. i put on a pair of slides and throw on a sweatshirt.

we grab our phones and walk to the store. i check the time it's 3am. we see ed the driver in the store. "hey ed, we are getting some stuff. want anything?" chris asks. "thanks, i'm okay. i just needed a stand up break." ed tells us we nod. it must be hard being the driver. i hope he likes driving.

chris and i mess around in the store for a few minutes then we get some stuff. chris and i bought those bottled starbucks coffee things for everyone. we also buy 2 packs of red bulls and a bunch of snacks.

"brooo. funny seeing you here." josh says as he walks over. we all laugh. josh, jaden, chris, and i are all in the store. we buy so much stuff. after we run it back to the bus. then we all run to the bathrooms. "i need to shit." josh says. all of us laugh.

"i'm so tired. i went to bed 2 hours ago." jaden tells me. "i went to bed at 12." i tell him we all talk. after we all head out of the bathroom and walk back over to the bus. we load on and everyone is still asleep. all of us remain quiet so we don't wake anyone up. especially avani. she gets grumpy. so does griff.

"if we wake up chase we are all dead." chris says. all of us laugh. "nooo waking up avani or anthony is even worse." jaden says. i smack his arm. "i woke them up once and i got attacked by anthony and avani wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the day." jaden talks. i roll my eyes.

we all go and sit in the back lounge. we all are so quiet. i'm shocked. "if bryce was here, everyone would have been awake by now. he's so loud." josh says all of us laugh and agree. it's nice to hangout with the boys. it's been a crazy few days of tour so far.

we feel the bus start back up again. "guys were in still in new mexico." chris says. "wait really?" josh asks. it feels like we've been driving for sooo long. i'm kind of tired again... "okay ok heading back to sleep. night guys." i say walking back to my bunk.

avani is balled up in the corner of the bunk. i lay down in the bunk and wrap my arms around avani's little body. she is still asleep.

*skipping time*

i wake up to sound of something falling. i roll out of my bunk and see nick fell out of his bed. he is on the ground. he's on the middle level so it's only like 3 ish feet from the ground. "you good?" i ask nick while helping him up. "i'm fine." he says. the bus swerves. nick and i stumble. what the? "hey where in texas." nick says while looking at the map app on his phone. i nod.

i check my bunk and see avani is awake. "good morning." i say to her. she looks tired. "are we still driving?" she asks me. i nod. she opens her arms up for me to hug her. i hug her. "i'm coldddd." she drags out the d. i hand her one of my sweatshirts. she smiles at me and puts it on.

avani rolls out of bed. nick, avani, and i all go into the little fridge and grab out some of the coffees that we bought earlier. i see amelie walk towards us. her and avani hug. then we all sit on the couches, drink coffee, and talk.

*skipping to when they get to dallas!*

yes, finally this bus ride took along time. but i'm glad we are here. we have a show at 11, it's currently 9. we leave dallas at 2-3. then we head to austin. we have 2 shows today. that's crazy to me. but i'm excited.
