The Shadow child (BNHA 2nd gen)

The dream

"Well, that made absolutely no sense. I didn't know a shadow could get confused,"

"We can't,"

"Then what the hell are you trying to say?"

"What'd I say?"

"Don't you want to hear how loud you were..."

"Oh, I guess it is possible to slur my words,"

"So what'd you mean?"

"I was trying to say that first  off, you were very loud, but  also that your blood turned black at one point."

"Sorry, What?!"

"You heard me, your veins turned blacker than anything I've ever seen."

I looked down and my veins looked perfectly normal, pumping normal colored blood through me.

"Huh,"

"Yeah, it was really odd especially since,"

"Since what?"

"Well, you were screaming when it happened,"

"And?"

"So what happened is you were screaming which brought me out.  As soon as I took form, I looked at you, and starting from your chest, your veins bulged and filled with black. After that well, you smiled and laid still, but that smile."

"My smile? You have seen every version of my smile a hundred times."

"I know that it sounds weird, but you were crying as you smiled and your tears weren't water, blood, or anything else I've ever seen."

"So basically, I creeped you out,"

"Don't put it so lightly"

"Oh my gods, you are actually weirded out by me," I replied trying to hide the fact I was terrified about what Yoru was saying.

"Listen dude it wasn't just the crying either. As you said a second ago I've seen every smile your body can create, yet this smile was completely new to me, it was like a more unsettling version of your smart-ass smile. That smile felt as though you were staring your own death in the face."

"Okay sketchy, anything else that happened?"

"One last thing, after about 15 seconds your smile dropped and you opened your mouth as if you were about to scream again but then it closed and you started cry water tears, that's when those spikes of shadow showed up, then you woke up saying the word doll."

"Is that everything?"

"That I'm aware of,"

"Okay then, I think I'm going to go for a walk to try to clear my head from that." With that, I crawled out of my nest of soft things and began to climb the stairs back to the real world. I opened the door allowing for new air to enter my lungs and it felt so amazing to feel the scents of the tree land once more. I checked my watch and deciding to go get dinner since there should  be a couple of places opening right about now for dinner. I exit the woods immediately longing to go back and just leave behind humanity, but I know that I don't know how to make deer steak and definitely can't survive on my own. I continue to walk to the restaurant I'm thinking of, and as I get closer I can feel the shadows getting bigger and bigger as the sun sets. "Well here comes the boost." I mumbled to myself as I nearly reached the front door. I finally make it inside and sit down at my usual spot. As I wait for a waiter, I check my phone since I haven't had internet and have been asleep for a bit. The only text I had gotten was from my grandfather.
