*Inspired by one of my favorite Eric Church songs*

I woke up this morning, feeling all kinds of giddy. I had met a guy the other day, and his best friend. We all kind of hit if off, now me and my best friend, Amber, were going on a double date. Amber hated country music, and racing, and anything to do with the south. She was a city girl. Red Wine in a tall stem glass, and listens to Panic! At the Disco and those kinds of bands. Me on the other hand, hand me a bottle of beer and turn up Eric Church.

"Ashlyn. Are you ready?" Amber asks, coming into the bathroom where I was getting ready.

"Yep." I smiled, putting on my Bill Elliott tank top Chase bought me as a joke. Yeah, its the Chase Elliott. But I wasn't interested in him as money, fame, or whatever. I liked him for him. We've snuck off to a couple of places to make out and cuddle, but that was about it. Again, we only met a few days ago, but honestly, it feels like I've known him forever.

I grabbed my keys to my Chevy Malibu, and walked out the door of my house.

"We are not listening to country." She says before I can even begin to turn on the car.

"Alright. Fine." I gave in, not even wanting to argue with her about it. We drove to the nearest Hooters, and Amber was dressed similar to the workers.

"Amber, you fit right in." I laughed, and hearing that laugh I loved to listen to. Chase was near by.

"Hey Ash. You remember Ryan." He says, pulling out the chair for me to sit down. Chase was such a gentleman. Amber and Ryan were staring at each other, mouths wide open.

"Glad I brought you with?" I smirked. She blushes and sits down next to him.

"I guess you were right." Chase chuckles.

"And I guess you owe me a slushie." I smirked.

"Only if I get a little of it." He says.

"Deal."

"And its blue." He says. I scrunched up my nose, earning a sneaky kiss on the cheek from him.

"I think their holding hands." I squealed quietly as they began talking.

"I don't think so."

"Me wearing your hat at the concert says they are." I giggled.

"You have a gambling problem." He shakes his head.

"Not my fault I'm right." I shrugged, taking a picture under the table with my phone. "I'm right, once again." I smirked, showing him the picture.

"Boy, you sure are a gambler. Does it run in the family?" He teases. I giggled and rolled my eyes. "Remind me never to take you to Vegas." He continues to tease.

"You are such a bully." I laughed.

"Am not."

"Is too!" Chase stuck his tongue out at me, making me laugh. We ordered our food and began eating and talking. Chase would take my fries, and then stick his nose in the air like a little kid.

"I swear if you take one more fry-" I started.

"What are you gonna do?" He taunts, standing up. I stood up and ran after him, not even caring we were acting like little kids. Ryan and Amber came running after us.

"You guys are such children!" Ryan scolds. Chase and I stood there in the parking lot getting scolded by both of them, but in reality, we were trying not to laugh.

"Quit looking at each other!" Ryan snaps.

"Sorry dad." Chase mumbles, but I knew for a fact he was smiling while looking down, waiting for me to laugh. And my own maturity failed me.

"I'm sorry! He made me laugh!" I pointed at Chase.

"Just because you're going down doesn't mean you take me with you!" Chase laughs, and starts tickling me.

"No, no, no, no." I laughed, squirming around until I was somehow completely wrapped in Chase's arms. I looked up at him and saw his chocolate brown eyes shining down at me.

"There's a bar near by, were gonna skip the concert." Ryan says, taking Ambers hand and guiding her towards one of his fancy sports cars.

"I thought he liked Eric Church?" I questioned, still in Chase's arms.

"I thought so too." He seemed just as confused as I was.

"Oh well. We've got a concert to get to." I giggled, taking the hat off of his head and placing it on mine, then climbing up into his truck. "What are you waiting for? A red carpet? Let's go!" I laughed, shutting the door. A few seconds later Chase was beside me and starting the truck, driving to the outside concert. He got out, and came around to my side, helping me down.

"Always a gentleman." I giggled, as he rolls his eyes.

"Let's go Ash." Chase says, taking my hand and began walking towards the concessions. I slipped my hand with his and walked with him through the crowd of people. He gave my hand a gentle squeeze, and I had the biggest smile on my face. He hands me the slushy and a straw, then we started walking near the stage.

"Hey!" I protested as he takes the slushy out of my hand and takes a drink.

"You made me buy it." He shrugs, handing it back to me.

"It's got your germs." I scrunched up my nose. Chase giggled, kissing me. I could taste the slushy, then him. I felt like I was butter, melting right into him. Chase pulls away, smirking at me.

"You love my germs." He pokes my stomach.

"You are such a dork." I laughed. Eric Church came onto the stage and everyone went crazy.

"I swear you have a man crush on him." I teased.

"No." Chase warns, but still smiling.

"You worship the ground he walks on." I continued to tease him.

"I worship god, thank you very much." He says.

"Mhm." I sassed.

"You did not just sass me, missy." He smirks.

"Oh, but I did." I stood up on my tippy toes, getting to his height. Chase kisses me, almost enough to knock me off my own two feet.

"I should sass you more often." I giggled as he pulled away.

"Shut up." He laughs, as his favorite song starts playing.

"Go ahead. Make fun of me, I dare you." He threatens playfully.

"I learned my lesson." I threw my hands up, smiling. Chase and I danced to Kill a Word, and a couple of his other songs. When one of mine happen to start playing.

"Chase!" I laughed as he spun me around. Springsteen began playing, which was my absolute favorite song by him. I loved all of his, but this one was my favorite. Chase's chest was against my back and his arms were around my waist with his head on my shoulder. He would sneak little kisses on my neck.

"Ashlyn Rose, will you be my girlfriend?" Chase asks softly. I turned around and kissed him.

"Does that answer your question?"

"I'm gonna need another one to make sure."

"Right, of course." I giggled, kissing him soft and slow. Many people were cheering, probably for the concert.

"Congratulations Chase and Ashlyn!" Eric says from the stage.

"You got him in on this too?" I giggled.

"Yep." Chase smiles, kissing me.
