"You're comin out tonight, right?" Erik asks over the phone.
"I kinda have to. I want to, but if I didn't even want to I would still have to go." I chuckled, looking in my closet.
"Still with that douche bag?"
"Erik, I told you this literally 6 hours ago I would meet you and Donny at the bar. Yes I'm still with him."
"I could give you so much more." I could literally hear Erik shaking his head in disapproval. I had no doubt in my mind I would be happier with Erik, but I've never broken up with anyone before.
"I'll see you in 15 minutes."
"Kay." He says, I hung up and got dressed, in skinny jeans, a loose white t-shirt, tucking it in the front of my pants and grabbing my boots. Showtime.

I walked into the bar, looking around for Donny and Erik.
"Hi." Erik says covering my eyes from behind me. I squealed, turning around and smacking his arm.
"How. Many. Times. Do. I. Have. To. Tell. You. Don't. Do. That." I said smacking his arm after each word. He just laughed, ducking and avoiding me.
"Let's get you drink." He says, taking my wrist and dragging me over towards the bar, where Donny was sitting with two wine glasses. White wine. I looked at Erik, then at the glasses, scrunching up my nose.
"I cannot believe you dragged us here, Erik." Donny says.
"Oh come on. You gotta live once and a while Donny boy." Erik smirks. I did my best not to show that I thought Erik was funny.
"It's Donald Theodore the second." Donny wouldn't look at either one of us. He didn't even acknowledge me.
"Yeah well my second finger is just-" I grabbed Erik's hand before he could even get the middle finger up.
"Behave." I said, trying not to laugh.
"I was just messin around with good ole Donny boy." Erik knew I was trying not to laugh, and he kept piling on.
"Why is he even here?" Donny snorts.
"Okay, well...hello to you too. And we're really close, you two never get along. Don't you think-"
"Finish the glass of wine, then we'll go to the art museum and leave this uncultured swine here." Donny says.
"Boring. How do you two even plan you're dates?"
"We've gone to many art museums."
"Bailey. In an art museum? I don't think we're talkin about the same Bailey. I'm talkin about the Bailey that grew up on a farm, basically livin with the pigs." I smiled at the memory of my childhood home.
"Ugh, you really had pigs?" Donny was beyond digusted.
"Well....yeah that's what you find on a farm." I stated as Erik laughed.
"For you're information, she's more city than country. She drinks wine with me almost every night."
"No she doesn't!" Erik laughs even harder. "Watch this." Erik ordered a shot of whiskey, and placed it beside my glass of white wine.
"Go ahead. Whichever one feels more natural." Erik smirks, leaning against the bar on his side. I looked at Donny, who by the way still hasn't made any eye contact.
"Go ahead. Prove me wrong that I don't know you better." I shrugged and did as I was told. I grabbed the shot of whiskey and downed it.
"Be careful what you wish for city boy." Erik chuckles. Jordan Davis' song, "Singles You Up." Started playing and I smiled.
"Ah, Bailey's favorite song." Erik smiles.
"No it isn't." Donny says.
"I ain't heard you laugh like that in a long time
I wonder if you stopped his world like you did mine just now
I see you sippin' white wine instead of whiskey
And does he want you to be just a little more city?"Erik sings the first part with that look in his eyes, he knows he's right. Donny snorts in disgust.
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm oversteppin' boundaries
I don't mean to be, but I've just got to tell you how I feel" Erik smirks and takes my hand, twirling me around."What are you doin with my woman?" Donny asks calmly.
"Giving her a good time, being ass all you want to do is sit there with that glass stuck up your ass." Erik twirls me around again, smiling at me. "'Cause girl, it's just a matter of time until you find, That the right guy's starin' you back into your eyes, right now No rush, but if he ever singles you up" Erik looks at me, and I knew what he was getting at.
He hasn't even looked your way since you walked in
But I can't help it that I can't take my eyes off of youYour favorite song just came on and me and you were singin' along
And he don't even know a single wordErik glares at Donny who snorts and gets up.
"Bailey, let's leave this lunatic alone and go to the museum."
"Leave if you wanna leave, I ain't goin anywhere."
"Fine. We are done then. Good day." He says, walking out of the bar. I looked at Erik, who was smiling like crazy.
"That was your plan all along, wasn't it?" I raised an eyebrow as he took me onto the dance floor.
"You don't seem bothered by it if it was." Erik shrugs, pulling my body closer to his.
"You planned for this all to happen, just so he would break up with me."
"I didn't plan for this to happen, Bails. But I also can't lie and say I'm not glad he broke up with you. I can't help that I want you, Bailey." I smiled up at him, blushing.
"I didn't know how to break up with him, but I really wanted to be with you, Erik." I said against his lips. Erik smiles, leaning down and kissing me.
"I can't believe you're all mine now." He smiles.
"Forever." I giggled, kissing him again.
