Ryan's POV
I had a long ass day at the track, and to top it off, my girlfriends been gone all month long. I know I said I would support her in her career as a song writer, but damn I miss her. And she's gone so much, it's like we don't even know each other anymore.

I grabbed my keys, heading back to our house. Our empty...lonely....house. I walked straight through the front door to the one thing that could make me forget why I was sad in the first place. Good old Jack Daniel's, he never left. Except when he was empty. I opened the bottle and tipped it back.

"I miss her so much." I mumbled, setting the bottle down on the white marble counter top. The kitchen was connected to the hallway, which then opened into the living room. It was a weird set up, but we liked it. We were weird people. I had told Ashlyn to just move in with me, that way she could save up her money and not have to pay rent at her apartment. So that's what she did. I tipped the bottle back once again and felt that familiar burn down my throat. I almost wanted to cry because of how much I missed her.

"Blaney! You have a gift waiting for you in your living room." Chase yells from the front of my house. I know I should be questioning why he's in here, but sober me probably gave him a key. As I followed him into the living room, I saw a giant box wrapped in starwars wrapping paper.

"What the hell?" I was in shock as how huge this box was.

"Go ahead. Open it." He beams. I raised an eyebrow at him, and kept looking at him while I undid the bow. Once the last strand was pulled, the walls fell apart and there she was, standing there with tons of Rose's in her hands. I covered my mouth, trying not to let the tears fall.

"Hi baby." She says softly. I quickly picked her up, wrapping her legs around my waist and hugging her tightly.

"I missed you so fucking much." I mumbled into her shoulder.

"I missed you too." She says, hugging me back.

"I'll leave you two alone. You have a long night ahead of you." Chase chuckles, walking out the front door leaving me and my girlfriend alone in my living room.

"What does he mean by that?" I looked at her.

"Remember how you said you wanted to sit down some time and rewatch every starwars movie, but you just didn't have time?" She cocks her head to the side slightly. It was always so adorable when she did that.

"Yeah?"

"Well...being as now it's off season, and people are writing Christmas songs...I was thinking we could sit down and start tonight. I've got snacks and everything set up. All you have to do is cuddle me on the couch." She giggles.

"You are the best girlfriend ever!" I smiled as I spun her around, earning another giggle. I placed her down on the couch, grabbing a blanket and covering us both. Before I could even start the movie I had to kiss her, she needed to know just how lucky I was to have her in my life. I pulled away, knowing I had left her breathless.

"What was that?" She giggles.

"I love you."

"I love you more." She smiles, placing her head on my shoulder and taking the remote out of my hands. "You might have to explain some things to me." She smiles.

"Of course." I leaned down, kissing her once more before settling into the couch and hugging her tightly. I never wanted to let her go.
