Chapter 6: Cat Buddies PT.2

The cat says 'Abra Kabadra', as Ashter and Aphmau were blinded by a light, startled a bit as they became... A lot shorter... Way much shorter.

"Huh...? What happened?" Aphmau said before screaming.

"A-Ash! You're a cat!" Aphmau says as Ashter looked at Aphmau.

"You're a cat too!" Ashter responds with a spooked face, as the cat bean to talk again.

"Yes, you two are cats. The man being a dark blue, black cat, and silver cat with white smudges with your natural eyes while you, women, are a purple and black cat, also with your natural eyes." The two new cats wear a sweater that looks like theirs, as Katelyn comes in the room, seeing the cats.

"Oh great, they gave friends. Shoo you two cats!" Katelyn says, grabbing out a broom as she began sweeping them away as the two began to ran, very much being scared of this broom for some reason, as the cat began speaking again in their native tongue,

"Welp, seems like you two will have to come back to know how to become human again!" The cat says as Ashter, distracting Katelyn, tells Aphmau,

"Hey! Go to the cat and ask how we can become human!" Ashter yells as Aphmau nods, sneaking away as she runs up the stairs, slow, but quickly as she can.

"You better get out cat!" Katelyn says as Ashter felt a smack, but it was light to not hurt as much.

"Ow! Katelyn! It's Ashter!" But to no use, Katelyn only hears meowing. After a minute or two, Ashter was out of the house, freezing BADLY.

"Ack! Cold!" He yells as he takes shelter underneath the roof, which doesn't contain snow from underneath.

"Okay... Aph, when will you-" And just as Ashter was about to finish, Aphmau falls out of her window and into to her two paws. Obviously cold, as he rushes to Ashter.

"Okay... Please tell me this is just a dream... Please tell me this is just a dream..." Aphmau said as she looks at his paws.

"Nope, I feel the pain, too.", Ashter responses, a bit saddened, as Aphmau groans.

"Well... That cat said we had to give joy to someone... Anybody!" Aphmau said as she got an idea... Or seemed to as she looked somewhere else.

"Aphmau, what are you-" Ashter turns to see what she sees.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Aphmau said as Ashter took a bit to process this, but nods. As the two know where to go, they began to go to where Garroth's house is as they step in his front porch as they tried to knock, but their stubbly little paws can't knock properly.

"Ashter, you're strong right!?! Jump up there and ring the doorbell!" Aphmau said as Ashter forgot he's a cat.

"Oh yeah, I forgot that I can jump!" Ashter said as he leaps at the doorbell, hitting his head but ringing it as he falls, dazed. But on his four feet.

"Ah Ah-hah..." Ashter said, confused as Garroth answered the door.

"Huh? Seems like someone rang the bell and left..." Garroth says as Aphmau meows as Garroth looks down, seeing the two kittens.

"What kind of person would be so cruel to dye these kittens hair!?!" Garroth said as Aphmau and Ashter said,

"Wait what." As the two were grabbed by Garroth and carried inside.

"I'll get you two washed up in a jiffy!" Garroth says as moments later, Aphmau and Ashter were clean and dried...

"Garroth scrubbed my fur too hard!" Ashter complains, a but itchy as Aphmau can agree.
