Chapter 33: A-Con! Asher Cosplays 101 (Pt 1)

Ashter is then seen walking with Lucinda as they held their luggage.

"Oh! So Kawaii~Chan is reserving a room for all of us?" Ashter says as Lucinda nods.

"Yeah, and this is marking our ENTIRE weekend!" Lucinda said as Ashter smiled.

"You know... I did go to a few conventions in my College a few times." Ashter says as Lucinda was a bit shocked.

"Wow, how!?!" Lucinda says as Ashter shrugs.

"I was very good at potions by then, I have studied them and memorized them, I lost that when leaving though hehe..." Ashter says as they meet up with Zane, Aphmau, and Aaron.

"Hey, you two! Glad you can make it!" Aphmau says as Lucinda hugged her.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world." Lucinda as Ashter awkwardly looks at Zane and Aaron.

"Uh... Hey Ashter..." Zane says as Ashter nervously grins.

"Uh... Hey Zane..." Ashter says as Aphmau smiled.

"Aw! Look at you two! Getting along!" Aphmau said as Aphmau and Zane jumped a bit.

"Hey!" Ashter says as Aphmau giggled.

"Oh Ash, you need to cheer up! This will be a memory we won't forget!" Aphmau says as Aaron chuckled.

"You always say that for every convention you go to," Aaron said as Aphmau giggled.

"Well, it isn't my fault you haven't been to one! You'll love it!" Aphmau says as Kawaii~Chan soon comes back.

"Kawaii~Chan got ourselves two huge rooms!" Kawaii~Chan says as the small group enters a moderately huge room...

"Okay, this is for us girls, guys, the other one is yours!" Aphmau said as Ashter nods.

"I guess I'll see you guys in the other room hehe..." Ashter said as he enters the now empty room. It had a few beds like the other one as Ashter grabs a costume he and Lucinda made yesterday... Well, Ashter did.

"Ugh..." He says as soon, he is seen trying it on.

"Wow, my magic skills didn't fail me for this one..." Ashter says as he looks at a paper stating the con starts tomorrow.

"Lucinda... You're paying me..." Ashter says as he changes his costume. It was a cosplay of Aru Akise from this anime called Future Diary (If you're under 18 don't look up the anime). Ashter puts it away as Ashter heads a knock on the door, as he rushes to the door and opens it, revealing the guys, Dante, Laurance, Garroth, and Travis.

"Hey Ashter, Aphmau said this is our room," Garroth says as Ashter lets them in.

"So! Ashter, what's your cosplay?" Dante says as Laurance, Garroth, and Travis head into Aphmau's room.

"Uh... From my favorite anime." Ashter says as Dante asked which one.

"Which anime is it?" Dante says as Ashter admits it.

"It's... From Future Dairy (Disclaimer: If you're under 18 don't look it up), I always liked the anime..." Ashter says as Dante was surprised.

"Wow. I thought I would expect an assassin from your outfit." Dante said as Ashter sighs.

"Well, Lucinda helped me pick out the outfits," Ashter said as the two heard a punch from the other room as the two twitch.

"Wow. That must be Katelyn again." Dante said as Ashter grins.

"Travis is probably doing it again," Ashter says as Dante grabs his costume.

"I'm going as Zoro, from One-Piece," Dante said as Ashter felt awkward...

"Oh cool..." Ashter says as Dante chuckled.

"I always wanted to try and watch One-Piece..." Ashter said as Dante was surprised.

"What!?! You haven't watched One-Piece!?!" Dante said as Ashter nods.

"I haven't had time to watch a new anime for a while..." Ashter says as Dante shrugs.

"You do have a point," Dante said as the two hear yet another punch.

"Ouch," Dante says as Ashter looked at the door, as he looks back at his bed.

"Hey, Dante?" Ashter says as he looks up at him.

"Yeah?" He says as Ashter awkwardly says,

"How are these types of cons like?" He says as Dante smiles.

"Well, it's very amazing. A lot of activities and cosplays." Dante said as Ashter nods.

"Okay. Well, I'll keep that in mind." Ashter says as the other guys soon enter the room.

"Travis! You seriously need to get your mind out of the gutters!" Garroth said as Laurance agreed.

"You were punched by Katelyn at first, you should've known better!" Laurance said as Travis chuckles.

"H-Hey... It wasn't my fault that Ashter is taking my girl-!" Travis sees Ashter as his eyes glow red.

"What did you say...?" Ashter said as Travis nervously chuckles.

"Hehehe! I-I mean! Ashter is flirting with my girl! S-So I wanted to impress her!" Travis says as Garroth and Laurance facepalmed, as Ashter's eyes faintly glow red as he began to speak.

"What happened this time?" Ashter said as Garroth gestures to the other room.

"Travis kept giving inappropriate remarks to Aphmau." He said as Ashter is seen punching Travis, as he groans.

"TRAVIS HOW DARE YOU TALK TO HER LIKE THAT!?!" Ashter said as Travis laughs under the pain.

"M-Man A-Ashter... You're... Very strong..." Travis says as Ashter's eyes continue to glow red.

"Uh... Ashter? Why are your eyes so... Red?" Garroth said as Ashter shrugs.

"Anyone who uses magic doesn't have this, so I honestly don't know," Ashter says as his eyes continue to glow red.

"It does look cool though, Ashter," Laurance said as Ashter gets up, walking towards the door.

"Ashter, where are you going?" Garroth says as Aphmau sighs.

"To eat something, I haven't eaten all day," Ashter says as he walks through the uncrowded halls... They screamed with excited people who wait for A-Con to begin as Ashter soon is at a food court as he is seen sitting down, eating a burger and fries.

"I always wondered why I had this... Condition? It seems to be from when I use my spells... Or emotions..." Ashter thinks as Katelyn is soon there, waving him down.

"Ashter!" Katelyn says as Ashter smiled as Katelyn soon sits across from him on the little table.

"Hey, I heard about what happened. You okay?" She says as Ashter sighs.

"Yeah, I just wanted to find you after I heard you leave," Katelyn said as Ashter smiled.

"Thanks... But I just needed some space." He says as Katelyn then pats Ashter on the shoulder.

"Don't worry about Travis... He's always a goof." She says as Ashter smiled, as the two began to talk about their lives.

"Oh... You've been making potions with Lucinda?" Katelyn said with a growl under her breath as Ashter nods.

"I sometimes stay up late so I help her. Or on the weekends." Ashter says as Katelyn laughs.

"Hehe... Yeah..." Ashter says as Katelyn and Ashter soon locked eyes with each other... As they soon look away from each other like nothing happened.

"Well, we should get back to the rooms," Katelyn said as Ashter agrees.

"Thanks, Kate... You're always amazing at comforting me..." Ashter says as he starts blushing, Katelyn laughing.

"Hehehe... I try." She says as the two head off into their rooms... What would the convention look like tomorrow? Who knows...
