Chapter 19: Neighborhood Play (PT 2)

Ashter is seen reading a script... As he is very nervous about this.

"Why didn't I just get another role...? I only did side roles..." Ashter said as he stands up, standing as he puts on hand flat on his chest as he sticks another hand out,

"Juliet... My love-" Ashter cringes at the sound he made.

"Ugh... This is hopeless..." Ashter said as he checks the time.

"It's almost time to get ready anyway... At least I have a shirt shift nowadays." Ashter said as he yawns. For the first time as he stretches. Ashter was surprised.

"Wow. I never yawned at this time before..." Ashter said as he shrugged.

"Eh, it is around 10 anyway," Ashter said as it's the next day as Ashter is seen reading the script again, frustrated.

"Irene why did you do this to me!!!" Ashter said as he sighed, heading off to the theater, or the community center where it is located. Ashter looks at the huge building.

"Okay... You can do this Ashter... For your incompetence and being an idiot and wanting to be in a role without me choosing my role..." Ashter said as he walks in, opening the door as he looks up, seeing the scenery from yesterday.

"Man... I should come here often..." Ashter said as Aphmau runs up to him.

"Hey, Ashter! I can't believe you made it!" Aphmau said as Ashter lifts his arm as he rubs the back of his head.

"Ah... Well, I couldn't ruin this for Katelyn last minute hehe..." Ashter says as Zane is seen behind Aphmau.

"Uh... Hey Zane..." Ashter said as Zane responded with,

"Oh. So you're the one guy who gave me that kitty facemask." Zane said as Aphmau giggled.

"Oh c'mon, Zane! It looked good on you!" Aphmau said as Zane chuckled a bit.

"W-Well... Thanks. I never really got a gift from anyone else besides Aphmau... So. Thanks." Zane said as Ashter was surprised.

("Zane... Is willingly being nice?") Ashter whispers as the two looked at Ashter confused.

"Uh, what did you say, Ash?" Aphmau said as Ashter was a bit startled.

"Ah! Um... The auditions are about to start! We shouldn't be late hehe!" Ashter said as he bolts off, faster than Garroth and Laurance would run if Aphmau was at Aaron's. Soon, the five guys who wanted to audition as Romeo were up on the stage as Katelyn and a few others looked at them.

"Okay! So, I know what you're thinking. And no, it isn't your scripts." The six we're confused as Ashter thinks to himself.

("Katelyn did say she wanted to put a twist... I think this is the twist...")

"Okay, boys! I want you, to make your acts seem very modern, for the new generation." Katelyn said as she claps, rising from her chair just a little.

"Hey going! Garroth, you're up!" She said as she always presents, Aphmau.

"And my Juliet, Aphmau, will also be up on the balcony." She said as Aphmau nervously waves to the six guys.

"H-Hi." She says as everyone but Garroth left as Aphmau takes her place on the balcony, leaving the five others backstage.

"Okay! So, I know what you've been thinking... But I didn't want to be Romeo!" Ashter said as Laurance took that as a joke.

"Well, obviously you seem to want to be here. But it would be me getting the part of Romeo." Laurance said as Travis makes a weird noise.
