People always ask Aoi about her eyes. They're a super pretty light blue which is weird considering she's Japanese but also has dark skin and hair. The truth is, Aoi is not entirely Japanese. In fact, she's only half Japanese. Her father was half Japanese, a quarter Hawaiian, and a quarter Welsh. Her mom was half German and half Japanese. This makes Aoi half Japanese and one eighth Hawaiian which gives her the dark skin and hair. Her Welsh and German DNA give her the starkly contrasting blue eyes that she possesses.
