"okay so, this is how it works" Susan explained as she talked to the 6 others that were sat in the circle. "You pick a name out of the cup, and whoever you get...you have to buy them a Christmas present. But you have to keep who you got a secret"

"Susan, we know what to do. We get that the whole point of 'secret Santa', is that it's a secret" Edmund commented with a laugh.

Susan gave Edmund a slight glare, whereas Lucy and peter laughed slightly.

Susan passed the cup to Lucy, who picked out a piece of parchment and opened it.

Mrs. Beaver.

Lucy quickly started to think about what she could get Mrs beaver for secret Santa. The youngest Pevensie was very excited to start looking.

"Your turn, Ed" Lucy said as she handed the cup to her brother.
Edmund smiled and picked out one of the pieces of parchment and opened it.

Peter.

Edmund tried his best to hide a smile (because obviously the whole point was to keep it a secret) but he was hoping he would get peter. The narnian Christmas market was about to start and Edmund was sure he'd be able to find Peter a present there.

"Pete, your turn" Edmund said as he handed the cup to peter.

"Thanks" peter said before picking out his own piece of parchment. He opened it excitedly.

Lucy.

'Yes! I'll have to get Lucy something really meaningful' peter thought to himself as he passed the cup to Mr.Tumnus.

Mr Tumnus bowed his head slightly before taking a price of parchment from the cup.

Mr Beaver.

Tumnus found this interesting, as he and mr beaver had been spending time with each other a lot more lately. Tumnus already had many ideas of what to get his friend.

Mr beaver practically snatched the cup from Tumnus' hands, eager for it to be his turn to pick a name.

Edmund couldn't help but laugh, and Tumnus also joined in with the laughing.
"Sorry, I just love Christmas" mr beaver said with a chuckle.
And with that, he picked a name out.

Edmund.

"Oooh, this is an interesting one" mr beaver said with a smile before passing the cup to his wife.

Mrs beaver carefully picked a name of out the cup.
Susan.
Mrs beaver smiled excitedly as she passed the cup to Susan, who picked out the final name in the cup.

Mr. Tumnus.

Susan also started to get excited now that she had someone to buy a secret Santa gift for.

"Okay. We have a week to find a present for the person we picked out. It can be as creative or as uncreative as you want, as long as the person will like it" Susan explained.

And with that, they all rushed off...eager to find presents for the person that had picked.
