"Haz?"
"Hi, Lou."
"What's wrong, Harry? You sound sad."
"It's my management."
"What did they do? I'll go fly out to you right now and beat their asses of you need me to."
Louis heard Harry chuckle on the other end of the phone, and smiled proudly for being the one who caused it.
"You don't have to do that, Lou. It's just that, I was supposed to have a week off next week from tour so that I could visit my family since I haven't seen them in a bit over a month, but my management told me that I needed to stay on tour and spend my time off doing sound checks instead."
Louis frowned, feeling very sad for Harry. Why did his management do that? Harry already sounded like an angel sent from the heavens above, so he should have been allowed the time off like he was supposed to have.
Touring is a tiring thing, and it is very stressful. And Louis knows how much Harry's family means to him, so not being able to see them anymore, like originally planned, must be so hard on Harry.
"Oh Harry, I'm sorry. When I meet your management I will give them a piece of my mind. Would you be able to see them at a later time?"
He heard harry sigh sadly into the phone.
"No, m'afraid not. The rest of my time on tour will be very busy and, at most, I'll only have a day off before I'm due for the next show."
"I'm so sorry, Hazzy. You can still Skype and Facetime them? I know it's not the same, but at least It'd be something."
"Yeah, I guess you're right. I'd still be able to see and talk to them, just not in person. Besides, I should be very grateful for this tour. Like, it wouldn't even be happening if it weren't for my fans. Am I being greedy, Lou?"
Louis could hear the uncertainty in Harry's voice, and it made him even sadder to hear the man think badly of himself. He's noticed, through all the messaging he and Harry does, that Harry is a very shy and self conscious guy. He can be very confident at times, but at others he shys away and grows uncertain.
"Of course you aren't, baby, it's okay to miss your family and want to take the time off to see them. Sure, you're a super star, but you're still a person, you still have feelings and emotions. And you deserve the time off, because you are an incredible person, Harry. You work your arse off to make sure your fans have an amazing experience. Okay? You are the least greedy person I know."
Louis heard a sniffling from the other side of the phone, and frowned in worry.
"Harry? Why are you crying?"
"I-I don't know, I'm sorry. I just- it's just that I haven't heard someone tell me anything like that in a long time, and hearing it from you makes it so much better."
Louis blushed at that, and then blushed even harder when he realized his earlier slip up of calling Harry 'baby.'
Damn you, Louis, he thought to himself.
"Are you gonna be okay?"
"Yeah, I think I will be now. Thank you, Louis. You always know how to help and calm me down."
Louis grinned at that, he helped Harry.
"Of course, Haz. Please call me if anything else happens, alright?"
"Of course. Thank you, Louis. I wish I could talk more, but I need to go now, management needs me."
"Alright, I'll talk to you later then. Bye, Haz."
"Bye, Lou."
*Call ended*
And if Louis layed on his bed blushing and grinning like a fool for the next few minutes, nobody had to know.
