This was a headcannon I saw on Pinterest and thought it would be really funny to write up! Enjoy!!!

Game night at the Avengers tower seldom went very well. It always took a while to explain the game to thor, Tony got to competitive against Cap, and Nat and clint would just work together. So they banned it. Then Peter Parker turned up, he had been living with the avengers for about 2 months and all of them had become very attached to him, so when he asked them all at the dinner table one night if they could have a game night, they couldn't refuse.
As Banner went through the board games they had he slowly eliminated them one by one, Tony was undefeated in Monopoly, Nat and Clint were too good at Twister, he was too good at operation. Thor struggled with board games but when they went to the arcade could win wacamole. As bruce went through the collection he found only one game that they could probably all play, Scrabble.
The Avengers set up the game on the coffee table and started playing, as expected thor struggled but with the help of Rhodey they seemed to be getting somewhere.
After 20 mins each person had at least 1 win to their name, as it came time for the final round Thor started. He put down 1 letter. "I will put down the letter a to make the word a!" Tony rolled his eyes at the attempt but didnt say anything. It was Steve's turn next. "Errm. I put down the letter 't' next to your 'a' to make the word at." It was Natasha's turn, she added the letter r to make rat. Finally it was Tony's turn, he looked over his words and the perfect awnser came to him "ok, I will add to your rat to make the word 'biostratigraphic'." He smirked as he said it, there was no way to beat him. How could a 16 year old come up and do something better than that. Peter checked over his words. He had the letters a, v, t, s, y, e, p, and q. There wasnt much he could do, let alone beat his mentor. Then he realised. "I add onto your biostratigraphic to make the plural, biostratigraphics!"
Tony glared at him as the other avengers stared at him in shock. The only person left was bruce in that particular game. "Ok, me and the big guy worked together to get the awnser.we are going to add onto Peters biostratigraphics to make antibiostratigraphics."
Clint flipped over the table. "I cant play board games with geniuses and a green rage monster. They cheat! We don't know if that's a word and in sure as heck nit going to check it. Lets just agree that Nat wins!"

And that was the end of the avengers game night.
