1st languages part 1

im expecting that everyone has seen this headcannon so i dont think i need to do lots of explaining!!!
When Clint is signing in ASL It will be in italics, although he wont be on this particular chapter BEWARB

The avengers were fighting Loki again. That diva did not know when to give up. The battle was almost over however. It was obvious that the villains plan was not as thought out as it had been last time in New York. In the final few minutes however, when it was clear that he could not win he spoke loud and clearly "Blah blah blah. með friggas teaching revert aptr til þinn original languages! hinnr þinn fave barbie!" As he shouted the last word a bright green light shone out consuming the avengers.

"Quella diva l'ha fatto davvero questa volta. la prossima volta che lo vedrò non esiterò a tagliargli la testa, coprirla di resina e metterla nell'atrio del mio edificio. che ha distrutto più volte."
(That diva has really done it this time. next time i see him i will not hesitate to cut of his head, cover it in resin and put it in the lobby of my building. which he has destroyed multiple times.) Tony huffed, an annoyed edge to his voice.
The team whipped their heads around. Why was the man who payed for everthing and made everyone look cool, speaking Italian. They all knew he could speak it, he bad been taught it by his mother whilst Howard was out on business trips. That in itself was not odd. It was more the fact that he refused to speak it in the company of anyone other than Pepper or Spiderman. But why was he so outwardly talking in his native tongue and not looking like he gives a fuck.
"Stark, why are you speaking in Italian, did you hit your head a bit too hard, not like it could ruin your personality. should take you iver to the medbay to go and help you?" Bruce asked, not quite sure what he was going to get in reply.
Tony, who had by now realised that no one had been able to understand what be said looked around confused. Deciding that in that case Bruce was probably the best, and safest option he carefully nodded his head. The two men walked carefully over to the elevator and entered the labs. The others looked at each other, still too shocked to try and speak. But also worried about their friend.
Bruce had set up the state of the art equipment, he wasnt a medical doctor of this higher level. But he knew how to work it and that was enough. He attached Electro-Neutron readers on Tony's head, arms and arc reactor and began to start to take readings. After a few minutes Bruce was still confused. After looking over all of the data carefully he had only been able to come up with one solution, whatever Loki had said ik the final moments of that battle, had stimulated certain pathways in the brain to an extent so great that they had been 'muddled up' as sorts. The effect of this had resulted in anyone who had been subjected to the Green light would only be able to speak in their first language until the brain could fix itself. Tony looked at his friends worried expression.
"Tony, I think you, and potentially a few others will only be able to speak your first language for a bit."

Sorry of this chapter wasnt mega great but it was more a way to lead up to the next part. Hope you enjoyed it anyway!
