I was awoken by the frantic yelling on Draco. My head had fallen from his chest, but he was laying right next to me. His eyes were closed, but he clutched the blanket like a lifeline.

He was yelling words I couldn't understand, but he seemed to be having some kind of nightmare.

Quickly, I grabbed his hand and placed my fingers on his face, trying to calm him down. Within just a few moments, his eyes opened quickly, he looked around the room frantically, then his eyes landed on me.

"Are you alright?" I asked quietly, almost inaudibly. His eyes searched me, relief flooding them as his eyes looked over my face. My hands rested on his face, which was surprisingly somewhat warm, due to the fire near us.

"Yes, It was just a nightmare, don't worry." He tried to smile, but I could see the terror beneath his skin. His hand slid into mine, the one that was on his cheek.

Sadness swelled inside of me. He shouldn't be having nightmares, especially not when just a few hours ago he was content and peaceful. It must be something that usually happens to him.

"Do you have nightmares often?" I asked calmly, looking up at him. He nodded, as if saying yes. A pang of melancholy bubbled in me. I came to the conclusion that the nightmares are likely about his father; mostly due to the fact that I know Draco is scared of him, even if he fails to admit it.

He looked down at me, eyes dull. I could see a bit of sadness hidden behind them. "But I'm very glad you were here to save me." He whispered, placing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled, fiddling with the fleece of his t-shirt.

There's something about finding comfort in yourself and in that one other person that seems to make life so much better.

He makes me so much better— makes me feel so much better. He gives me peace but also exuberance at the same time.

"Let's go." He said, getting up from the blanket. I looked up at him, knitting my brows together. What did he mean 'let's go'? It's around two in the morning, and if we get caught lurking the hallways it could get us both in trouble.

I got up after him, following the blond headed boy out of the Gryffindor common room. We headed down a few hallways, winding down the twists and turns.

Hogwarts was terribly cold at this hour. The owls were cooing and the crickets chirped outside, but silence surrounded the hallways of Hogwarts.

We walked and walked, all the way until we reached the staircase to the astronomy tower. I clambered up the stairs after him, my hand sliding up the cool railing as we inclined the steps.

We reached the top and I was hounded by cold wind, but the moment I looked up to the sky, the coldness of the surrounding area seemed to disappear.

The sky was pitch black, and the stars glimmered with beauty. Hundreds, thousands of little stars lined the sky. "Wow." I breathed, my words coming out as a fog from my warm breath.

He led me to the edge of the astronomy tower, where railing bordered us from the ocean and rocks below. I placed my fingers on the railing, allowing the cool wind to blow through my locks of hair.

"See that one right there? It's just above the mountain peak." He pointed toward one of the stars, a very, very bright one just above the mountain peak. I nodded and stared at it, the glimmering brightness comforting me.

"The last thing my mother told me before she left was 'look at that star every night, I'll be looking at it too.'" He spoke with remembrance, almost like it was just yesterday he heard his mother say those words.

The delicacy of his words made it sound even more painful for him. My hand travelled to his shoulder, and I stroked my fingers along the fleece of his shirt. He didn't look at me, instead, he kept his eyes locked on that one particular star.

The coolness of the air whirled around us, but I didn't mind. I was just living, feeling in the moment, with Draco by my side— the only person I could imagine up here with me.

It was a picturesque moment. Even though my eyes ached from lack of sleep, I was content standing there with Draco.

Suddenly, he burst out with a kind of growling sound. He was receiving pain from his father again, but this time it was on his shoulder area. He clenched it tightly, gritting his teeth together.

My eyes filled with worry. I didn't really know what to do, so I used my words instead. "You're okay Draco, you're with me, don't worry." I said softly, reading his face for something— anything.

As the words exited from my lips, the pain seemingly went away. He breathed very heavily for a few moments, then took a long breath of air. "I don't know what I'd do without you." He spoke calmly, evenly.

I nodded with a grin, my hand resting on the shoulder that had just been bombarded with pain. "I don't know what you'd do without me either." I giggled. He shook his head with a closed-mouth smile, eyes still targeted on the same star.

"We should get back, before we get in trouble." I said, slipping his hand into mine. I led us all the way down the dark, twisty hallways, up the Gryffindor tower, and to the common room.

Our blanket was in the exact same spot as it had been when we left. Draco and I settled down into our previous positions. I was next to the fire, while he laid beside me. My hand rested on his chest, and my head faced.

"Tell me, Y/n, after Hogwarts where would you like to live?" He asked quietly. We were so close together I could feel his breath fogging onto my face, but I didn't mind, not in the slightest. Being close to him reminded me of our delicacy.

"Well," I whispered back. I pondered for a moment. "I'd want to stay here, definitely, and have my own clothing shop." I answered. Truthfully, there were a number of things I wanted to have, but clothing is my upmost passion. "And what about you?" I asked.

He thought for a moment— I could see the cogs in his head turning. "I'd want to go wherever you go." He answered, taking a strand of my hair and placing it gently behind my ear.
