Chapter 19 (Asami's POV)

It's been a week since the party and everybody has been busy.

We have the business side, which I handle as well as their training, which is going smoothly.

Ren finally stepped forward the day after the party and informed us of three of the assassins from the Liasion Group that he has met before, and how they do their work and their code names, and everything he knows .

Zero's been investigating and initiating spy work and has sent people to New York to gather information.  He's been super active of late.

Eiji has started the bow and arrow training.

Honestly, though, I'm going to get his eyes checked out, How can his aim and perception be that bad?  But he hasn't given up.

Eiji has also agreed to getting his eyes checked out, I think he also hopes that his eyes are the problem and not his aim.

So today the eye doctor will be paying a visit.

So I told Eiji, no excessive training today.  
So he decided to just stay in his room and sleep.

Ren is off on business today as well.  Zero is busy with his research, but seems to be working out today.

I think Eiji, hasn't been sleeping well either.  So I guess til the doctor gets here, he can just sleep.

Which will be here soon, so I'll go wake him up in 30 minutes.

I then head towards Zero.

I walk out onto the lawn and see Zero practicing his fighting skills and then I jump in and block his kick, catching his leg, though he seems shocked, he then jumps up and throws his other leg up around my neck, breaking his other leg out then tightening around my neck. I quickly throw him down, causing him to gasp as his back hits the ground.  Causing him to loosen his hold and I slip out of his legs and then pin him below me.

"I give"

Zero surrenders

"You shocked me a bit with that move. Mr. Zero. The Python. Your grip has gotten stronger as well."

I compliment Zero.

"Sure, if my legs didn't slack when I get thrown down.  It would be more benificial."

Zero says while he pats the dirt off himself.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out."

I say with a smile.

"So, Why aren't you and Eiji training today?"

Zero finally asks.

"Oh, I'm letting him sleep, lets see for another 15 minutes.  He has a eye doctor coming today.  His aim and perception seem totally off when practicing archery, I think he needs glasses."

I explain to Zero.

"Oh, probably, he does squint towards far away things."

Zero says in response, looking positive about my conclusion.

"So , How's the private investigation going?"

I ask Zero, causing him to laugh a little.

"I knew you would notice, Asami."

Zero answers.

"So, Zero, What have you found out?"

I inquire again.
Zero looks at me with a slight smile.

"Well, it turns out when Eiji left for Japan from New York, Ash got stabbed and almost bled to death, but someone got to him in time.  He had already lost consiousness, But they were able to sustain his life.  But even though no vital area was hit. Due to how long he was unconsious, he fell into a coma. Though, six months later he woke up, coming out of the coma.  It seems to have completed his rehabilitation quicker than the prognosis and left where he was hositilized. Then from there I'm still doing research.
But do to the use of underground doctors, I was able to get this much information and a in a week at that.  But his moves after is why I have sent my best two to locate or atleast collect information.  But, one thing is certain, Ash Lynx is still alive."

Zero ends with confidence. Causing me to also smile.

"Good work, Zero, you really are the best at this kind of work."

I say patting his shoulder.

Zero smiles.

"Yes, but i'm not done yet."

Zero finishes.

"Well I gotta go wake Eiji."

I say, then head off towards Eiji's room.
