Chapter 29 (Dr. Hiro's POV)

I received a call and request from the Okumura Groups home to treat their boss.

The Okumura , huh?  The only person I knew related to this group was Eiji, my junior from High school , he was a talented pole-vaulter.  It's been a while since I've thought about him.

I heard that they had a family massacre and that the new boss, was, or is Asami, 29 years old, but I've also heard that its now led by a actual blood relative who is the 21 year old grandson. That sounds like Eiji to me.

Alot has happened since High school.

I've always looked after Kanzaki and also my little brother Saki.

I'm a medical genius, but also best friends with the leader of the Kanda Group and a older brother of a troublemaker.

Kanzaki brought Saki into the Kanda Group to keep him out of the Ozaki Group.

But, because of this I also gave up on many colleges to stay near them.

I'm an underworld doctor , I'm 22 years old and if Kanzaki had his way, I would be the second seat of the Kanda Group. 'Not that he doesn't already treat me as such.'

But, If this is Eiji.  I'm probably going to be having a long conversation with him. 

I've been worried since they said he had an accident and went off to America.

He was gone for a year and I haven't hear anything about him , I hope that massacre didn't include his family, They were really sweet.

It's been 2 years , since I heard that news through underground channels.  But, its been 3 or 4 years since Eiji and I have spoken to each other.

I now get out of the car that drove me over to this location .

I stand infront of a Traditional Japanese looking villa with like no neighbors. It's winter still, but this place is pretty.  

I now see a silver haired boy in a suit like attire waiting for me.

"Hello, I'm Zero, I talked to you on the phone."

This Zero person introduces himself.

"Ah, yes, I'm Dr. Hiro, Can I see the patient now?"

I ask quickly.

"Yes, follow me."

Zero says and leads me inside and to a private section of this home and into a bedroom.

"By the way , He's unconscious."

Zero says before letting me in all the way.

I enter and see two other guys in the room.  One I recognize as Asami , standing and the other guy was sitting by the bed.

"Hello, welcome, Dr. Hiro, our Boss, Eiji, asked for you personally in the middle of the training match, so he is unconscious , so, please examine him and we will wait outside."

Asami say and then grabs the other guy and they leave.

I walk over and look down. It is Eiji,
 "Okumura Eiji, my friend. Why are you also stuck in this world?"

I say and place my hand on his head.

"He's burning up."

I then go in and take off his shirt,
I see the brush marks and bruises, but also scarring from a bullet wound and a cut across his chest, his ribs seem to have been hit badly but not enough to fracture or to break, his arm also seems to have taken lots of pressure put on it,  and his forearms must have been his great strength, they have already started to bruise.

I then take off his pants to check his legs , besides from his own kicks, they seem fine, but, there is something I can't help but notice as a doctor , but also as someone who is the same. 
Eiji, so much, there is so much we need to talk about.

Why is someone like you, putting yourself through all of this?  Why ? I just don't understand...

What happened? Eiji? 
' don't tell me , that massacre involve some of his family as well, and not just the Groups.

After wrapping his rib cage a little , along with his shoulder.
I then pull a blanket out and cover him up, and lift his head and add another pillow. 

This is just from training.

I then sit down at the table in the room.

But, Then the guy who was dragged out came back in.

"I'm sorry, I didn't get your name earlier."

I say as he walks over and sits down .

"Ah, I'm Ren."

He answers calmly, but simply.

"I'm Dr. Hiro, I actually went to High school with Eiji."

I say, which catches his attention.
