"PRISONERS"

IF THERE'S anything that Amara Vell had learned about life it's that time doesn't heal everything. It is a common misconception among the people within the galaxy but all it will ever be is a misconception. It is a lie they tell themselves to cope with pain and life itself. But all time ever really does is teach us how to live with pain, with suffering. Nothing will ever truly be able to stop the pain you feel from within because without that pain you wouldn't really be alive. That pain is what molds us into future versions or ourselves. But in the end, it's all up to us whether that molding is for better or for worse.

Amara's voice was barely even a whisper as she spoke. "Go back. Go back." As if by a miracle when the group had entered a clearing filled with storm troopers every single back was turned to them. But the miracle would not last long and they had to leave before they were noticed. "Act natural." She whispered again as she slowly turned around and began to walk in the direction that had come from.

"Halt. Stop right there." Amara felt her heart drop in her chest as she froze her steps.

Amara spared a glance to Cassian. "I told you we should have gone left." She muttered before slowly turning around to face the trooper.

"Now is hardly the time, Mar." Cassian whispered before following her actions.

"Where are you taking these prisoners?" The trooper asked, obviously talking to K2.

Hope swelled in Amara's chest as she looked to the droid. This was their way out. If K2 could play the part they shouldn't have a problem escaping this situation. But of course it was quite the stretch to rely on K2 to act a role of an Imperial droid for very long with his snarky attitude. "These are prisoners." K2 pathetically answered.

"Yes." The trooper confirmed. "Where are you taking them?"

Please be smart about this. Amara thought as she looked up to the droid. Though it seemed she wasn't the only one who was rather panicked during this situation. Cassian stared at K2 with such a cold stare Amara would have thought him to shut down the droid had he said the wrong word. "I am taking them to imprison them in prison." It took everything in Amara not to pinch the bridge of her nose in utter disappointment.

"He's taking us to..." Cassian spoke to try and fix the hole K2 has now dug ten times deeper.

"Quiet!" A sharp gasp left Amara's lips as she watched K2 backhand Cassian across the face. He groaned, a glare forming on his face as he held his hand over where he had been slapped. "And there's a fresh one if you mouth off again." K2 warned.
