"Um, I ..." said Sarah doubtfully, before finally being interrupted by medic who had been stood near them for how long, seen waited for Andres and Sarah.

"Mr. and Mrs ... "

"I am Crosz," Andres cut, then looked hesitant. "And this is Miss ..."

"I am Sarah," said Sarah, introduced herself, knew that Andres didn't knew her name yet.

Before the medic said something, Andres had already spoken. “We both will go to the hospital. So, there's no need to take care of us."

Saw the flash of hurt in the female medic's eyes at Andres's refusal made Sarah feel bad. "We're fine, thank you," she said with a gentle smile.

"There are those who need you more than either of us. I'll take her to the hospital."

Sarah couldn't help, but have to go to the hospital with Andres to check their wounds. She felt pain in her cheek and guessed that she might have wound her cheek while tried to save Andres and herself from gunshot.
