The ever bright main source of solar energy began to turn dull heading west as beautiful lines of clouds accompanied it. The two students in their white and blue uniforms walked hand in hand as they approached a large black metallic gate which had star like designs imprinted on it, these dispersed stars on the gate were spray painted gold.

"Are you sure we are not being followed?" he asked, tilting his head forth and back to see if the coast was clear.

"For the ten thousandth time, no" Ada, exasperated from the question he asked occasionally. She let out an irked groan as she noticed King checking- showing uncertainty.

"I have a feeling we are being followed..."

"Just get in" after unlocking the gate, she pulled him in, locking it immediately he was in.

It was a two storey building painted in lemon. Two cars- a 2005 black Camry Sienna and a gold Camry hybrid sat adjacent the entrance. Purple hibiscus flower, morning glory and sun flower clustered beautifully at the pavement wall. They trod languidly on the grey and red German interlock. A cream carport served as a shade on the left side of the house, it was big enough to accommodate both cars and the round table that sat gracefully underneath. After unlocking the door, she removed her shoes, King knew what to do and where to go.

"Nne? Papa?" she called, no response. "They are not back yet?" she asked.

"If they were back won't they respond?" he twisted his lips to a half smile.

"I am starving, King go prepare one of your delicious American food naw" she pouted.

"Oh yeah, we're celebrating the occasion" his eyes flickered with bliss.

"Oh my goodness, I almost forgot" she held back her squeak.

"Can you imagine?" he rolled his eyes. "Lemme go wash up first, do the same OK?" he left.

The dinning space was adorned with a little silver chandelier, the light bulbs stuck in the object had colours of blue, green and red. It was a four table sitter, the couples sat directly opposite direction while the other sitters could fiddle with their legs to show how close the sitting was. The glass table was filled with loafs of bread, a fully dressed turkey, some white rice with a sprinkle of sesame seeds, a bronze table top in it mixed veggies sauce, another tabletop- having a gold crown was were another set of fried chicken laid.

"Ah" the middle aged man, probably in his early fifties was flabbergasted to see all that was put in place.

"Nnoo n'ulo nna" (Welcome home, papa), she greeted before taking his office bad from him.

"Umu m" (My children), she spread out her arms for a hug which they both dived into. "What is all this?" she asked, astonished by the large amount of food on the table.

"OK, welcome, nne and Papa" he scratched the nape of his neck, as they giggled at his pronunciation. "Why don't both of y'all, get a shower" they both walked them to their rooms.

"Emela ịhụnanya n'ebe ahụ" Ada teased as she closed the door behind.

"Em what does that mean?"

"It means don't do love love there"

"Oh, you mean, they should not stay longer than expected, right?" he asked.
