I trekked toward the 'Centre Yard' and met up with the others. Most were there, standing away from the platform, others inspecting it for any suspicious activity. The only one who wasn't here was Maigo, the one who'd left us earlier today.
Monokuma:
"Everyone please stand in the centre of these stones and wait for your descent!"Personally, I didn't want to step in the ring. It resembled a magic circle used in certain rituals, so you would expect some defiance. But we all knew it was useless. We grouped; 15 of us in total in the centre of nowhere.
It was so sudden, so unbelievable. The platform dropped at incredible speeds into the ground below, further and further.
Saki Hana:
"Why didn't they make it go any slower!"Kōzō Hato:
"Let's be real, they had no idea how to build this."It was only a few seconds before we reached the trial room, bright and violet. The spotlights positioned at the corners of the room faced one of us, one each. Though I could've spent a long time admiring the room's design, I had better things to take care of.
This was the time; the time to avenge Maigo Impeishin.
