Danganronpa: Misinterpreted Lies and Empty Promises (ON HIATUS)

Chapter 1 (Part 7) - Investigation #1

Tetsudzuki Genkaku:
"You know what? Go see what everyone else is doing. I trust you enough to do this, alright? Feel lucky."

I left the room, puzzled, to alert the others. I was mainly searching for Chikyū, seeing as her plan completely collapsed on itself. I figured she'd be in the A/V Room. Surprisingly, that's where I found her, frantically reading a computer screen intently.

Bukiyōya Hito:
"What are you... looking..at?"

Chikyū Chōsa:
"N-Nothing. Just a little stressed is all."

I peered over at the screen, which was facing away from me at the time. Several other screens were displayed on it, showing different parts of the school: the Gym's enterance, the dormitory corridor, the library and the corridor outside the classrooms. She looked over at me and immediately covered the screen with her hands, waving them around to try and block the whole display.

Bukiyōya Hito:
"Are those from the CCTV cameras by chance?"

Chikyū Chōsa:
"I-I..uhm... I guess you could say that. I heard the announcement and decided to look around here first. I turned on this computer and it just showed this screen. I don't even know how to turn it off!"

Bukiyōya Hito:
"Do you mean that it just appeared like this? That's strange... Did you find anything on here?"

Chikyū Chōsa:
"I don't think so. I came in here the second you all left in your pairs to try and monitor you. The last thing I saw concerning Maigo was him meeting with Hikari and Kōi, before leaving you to go into his room. Then, the announcement sounded. You came running in his room shortly after, followed by Shīrudo and Tetsudzuki a few minutes later."

Bukiyōya Hito:
"Alright... that's what I figured too. That means that no one entered the room before him. That's strange..."

Truth Bullet acquired: "Chikyū's Account"

I left the room to visit the Gym, immediately met with the Ultimate Chemist: Kojin Kisuri.

Kojin Kisuri:
"Bukiyōya! Thank goodness you're here!"

Bukiyōya Hito:
"What do you need? You look kinda stressed..."

Kojin Kisuri:
"Well, I heard what Chikyū said... so I am searching for any poisons around the school, but I can't seem to find any."

Bukiyōya Hito:
"The culprit may have disposed of the evidence."

Kojin Kisuri:
"Sure, but what does that mean for the trial?"

Bukiyōya Hito:
"It means that while we can, we have to find out how Maigo could've ingested the poison in the first place."

Kojin Kisuri:
"Alright! So, where do we start..? Well, the two most obvious ways of taking in the poison would be to inhale or swallow it. Inhaling is out of the question, as there are no poisonous gases available to us just yet and we don't have the equipment to create one."

Bukiyōya Hito:
"Okay... so I just have to find out if he's eaten fairly recently, right?"

Kojin Kisuri:
"Yep! That easy!"

I then left the room thinking about the new question that arose from his statement. I, myself haven't actually eaten since the beginning of the game, which I found surprising. I attempted to recall as much about my stay here as I could to try and grasp a better understanding of it: I entered, got to know everyone, watch the first motive play out, went back to my room with Maigo, left without him, got paired up with him a few minutes after, and then he died. In fact, I wasn't too sure that he had eaten either. Perhaps he was too terrified out of eating in fear of such poison? Maybe not...

Truth Bullet acquired: "Poison Dilemma"

Speakers (Monokuma):
"Alright, everyone! Stop what you're doing, drop your pencils! It's time for the long-awaited class trial! Come to the 'Centre Yard' as soon as you can!"

'Centre Yard'? That was just a ring of stones outside, right? Maybe it was something more interesting. Either way, I really should make my way there if I don't want to get punished.
