Gradually my eyes open as the warm sunlight streams through my large bedroom window. I absolutely love when I have no Saturday morning plans. It means that I can just lay here in my soft cozy bed for as long as I want. Most of my life is a lot of go go go. Most of that is my own fault though since I love to plan things in my life and I constantly take on more than a normal person would or even should. Every so often though, I genuinely enjoy not having anything planned.

Laying here, I start wondering what time it is right now. I'm really hoping that I was able to sleep in quite a bit this morning- God knows I need it! I grab my phone to check what time it is. Alright... not too horrible. It's 10:30am. Looks like there are a ton of Facebook notifications that need my attention. I am guessing that means that we were tagged in the Foundation's event posts. I open the app and sure enough that is exactly what happened. The photographer I found to capture the evening did a phenomenal job and really worked their magic quickly! The photos are beautiful and damn that lighting was picture perfect! There is a great picture of the girls and me. I will have to make that my cover photo, I mentally note to myself.

Ugh. I guess I need to get out of bed. "Oh good lord!" I just saw myself in the mirror as I got up. My red hair was all over the place. How is it that some girls wake up and almost immediately look great naturally? Ugh, I am not one of those girls. I look like a completely different person when I wake up than when I went to sleep. Seriously.

So, do I shower and maybe look like a normal person again first? Or order myself some lunch? Deciding on the shower first, I finish that up and quickly place an order at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Chicken and broccoli all the way! Couldn't have asked for a better morning.

After spending far too much time figuring out what to wear for our dinner date tonight, I finally decide on a short red long sleeved dress that has a super low-cut V in the front with some nude heels. I went light on the makeup tonight because Oliver always says he likes the natural make up look. Personally, I enjoy more makeup to make my blue eyes pop a lot more, but I don't argue because it makes getting ready that much quicker. I also kept my hair down and just slightly curled it. I look in the mirror and really liked what I saw. I felt damn good. Time to head to the restaurant.

It didn't take me long to get the attention of a cab once I raised my hand up. "Lucciola on Amsterdam, please" I request as I slid onto the seat. "Not a problem, beautiful" the driver replied while eying me up and down with a smile. His comment makes me feel even better about my appearance. I do feel beautiful tonight. Since the restaurant is on the other side of Central Park, I am hoping it doesn't take too long to get there. I am starving!

As the cab pulls up to the front of the restaurant, I look out and see Oliver leaning casually up against the building waiting for me. I pay the cab driver and walk over to him. "Hey there handsome." Oliver looks up and gives me a big smile, "Well hello there beautiful," he says as he pulls me into him and lightly kisses my lips. "I did check on our table when I got here and it was ready for us, so shall we?" He motions for us to walk in as he holds open the front door. He acknowledges the hostess ahead of us, and she gets our menus gathered and instruct us to follow her. Since it was such a beautiful night out, Oliver must have reserved one of the tables outside in their courtyard area. I followed them out the side door onto the warmly lit courtyard. There are bistro lights running from the building to the posts that were secured to the fencing. The plants they had spread out amongst the tables helped bring the Central Park feel into the courtyard. It truly gives off a great ambience!
