Before you start reading, I have to share something! I am so over the moon that Always Yours has almost 1,100 views!! I can't believe it. I would've been thrilled with, like, 100 views lol. This just blows me away. Thank you all so much!!
Now back to the story!
________________He places his hand gently on my cheek and his thumb moves tenderly as he brushes away the tears that started to fall from my eyes. His touch feels so loving and familiar, which makes me yearn for more.
"Don't let him dim your shine, Soph. He isn't worth these tears." Those words. It's like he knew I absolutely needed to hear them.
For as upset and mad as I should be about Oliver, I just can't seem to care much about him right now. As I stare into Logan's gentle eyes, I feel as if there is no one else in the club but us. He looks at me the way he always did years ago... as if he still felt the same amount of love as before. Before the distance got in our way.
Could that even be possible?
Suddenly there is movement behind him. Before I know it, there is a petite blonde dressed in a skintight white mini dress wrapping her arm around his neck. She glares right through me and then turns her attention to Logan. Who is this girl?
"I was wondering what was taking you so long! Who's your friend, Logan baby?"
Baby? Wait... is this a girlfriend? The way she is wrapping her arms around him right now definitely says girlfriend to me. Hold up... he said he was here with Liam and a client, no one else. Did he deliberately not mention her to me? The way he brushed away my tears and looked deeply into my eyes, he couldn't be dating someone... could he? That was too much of an intimate moment. Although, being in a relationship didn't stop Oliver from having an intimate moment with another girl...
He clears his throat, "Erm, this is Sophia. Sophia, this is Am..." She interrupts him and holds her free hand out to me. She has on the biggest fake smile I have ever seen, showing off her perfectly straight, white teeth.
"Oh Logan, I'm sure she already knows who I am! My name is way more well known here in New York than LA." I shake her hand apprehensively. I want to be nice to her because I have no reason not to be, but she seems way too fake for my liking. Also, the fact that Logan's actions just now are reminding me of Oliver is kind of bothering me.
"No, I'm sorry, I don't think I know who you are at all," I answer without delay.
The once fake smile that was plastered on her completely overly made-up face is now gone and her glare is back. "You must be new to this city then," She scoffs right back at me.Ha, right. I shake my head at that comment since I have been in this city for over a decade now. "Not at all. Sorry, what was your name again?" I probably shouldn't be as snarky as I'm being to someone Logan may be dating, but she is being so arrogant.
She ignores my question and immediately looks at Logan. "I thought you were coming out to be with me tonight... not to look for other company..." she glares back towards me. I smirk as I take a huge gulp from my drink. I really want to go off on this bitch, but I just don't have the energy to deal with this drama.
Before I hear him respond to her, I get up from the table and head down towards the dance floor. Luckily, Gianna and Charlotte are in the same area I left them. I quickly approach them.
"There you are! Where the hell have you been?" Gianna yells over the music playing.
I glance up towards the VIP section and see Logan looking over the railing at me. I'm not sure why he is even wasting his time watching me if he has little miss perfect up there with him. God, why do I sound so jealous? Ugh, I think I've had enough of being out after what just happened.
