"Attention Ladies and Gentlemen. We are now beginning to make our descent to LaGuardia. Flight attendants, please do a final cabin check. Welcome to New York City. I hope you enjoy your stay." I hear the captain make his final announcement as we are getting closer to the airport. A new city to call home for however long they plan on keeping me here.

New York can't be all THAT different from LA, right? Just really fucking cold winters here. Actually, come to think of it, I'm sure it's already colder than I am used to out there and it's only mid-September. God am I going to miss the mild winters that LA offered.

I look over to my right and see Liam still passed the fuck out. Dude, he really can sleep through anything! I wish I were that lucky. I elbowed him a few times so he can start getting his shit together. After about 3-4 nudges, he finally wakes up. "Yo man, we'll be landing soon," I tell him. "Oh wow. That was a quick flight," he says groggily. I laugh, "Yea if you were able to sleep through the whole thing it was really fast!" I shake my head. I can never fall asleep on flights. Even the international ones across the pond. I end up just staying awake for a good 28 hours straight when traveling like that. Start fresh the next day. The domestic flights aren't as bad, obviously, but I still will be catching up with the travel tomorrow.

We finally land in NYC. Props to the pilot for a really smooth landing. We start to grab our carry-ons from above us as the plane comes to a stop in front of the jetway. Luckily, since we are in first class, we will be one of the first ones off. Definitely a benefit of flying for business with our company!

Liam and I head out of the plane, throwing the flight attendants some flirty smiles as we pass them. I am hoping we don't have to wait too damn long for our luggage at the baggage claim. I am ready to relax at the apartment the label secured for us for our initial arrival.

Once we finally grab our luggage, we make our way to the company car waiting for us outside. "Welcome to New York, Mr. Parker; Mr. Cooper," the driver says as he tips his head to me first and then to Liam. "Please call us Logan and Liam," I answer politely as I point to each of us. I honestly hate being that formal. "Not a problem, Logan. My name is James. I will be your company driver while you stay here in the city." "Thanks man," I reply. We all get into his black Lincoln Town Car. At least it should be a comfortable ride to our apartment.

I figured out that the traffic really isn't too different from LA. It fucking sucks in both cities! It takes us almost an hour to finally get to our new apartment building, which apparently isn't far from our new office James claims. I get out of the car and take a look up towards the top of our building. I think our apartment is one of the top floors, which will definitely be a nice view. James hands us our bags and we say our goodbyes- at least until Monday rolls around.

The elevator takes us up to the 45th floor. We find our door not too far away. It opens up to a nice open floorplan that does indeed have a fantastic view of the city. I may not be keen on living with anyone, but this view will at least make it pretty bearable. "Not too shabby!" Liam exclaims. "Yea, I suppose this will be good until we can both find our own places."

"Well, I don't know about you, but I am starving. Wanna go find somewhere to grab food and then go to a club nearby to find some ladies to keep us company tonight?" Liam looks excited about his potential plans. Ugh it's not exactly what I want to do, but it'll get us out to explore the city a little bit. "Eh, yea I guess we could do that," I answer, "Find us some places to go, and we can start heading out.

He decides on a place nearby that supposedly has the best wings in Manhattan. What's even better is that it was within walking distance, so we start our walk. Looking forward to wings and beer in my near future. The sun has started setting and you can see all the city's lights start to come to life. I think this city is going to grow on me before I know it.
