Twenty Nine

I'm currently sat in homeroom and I'm so excited to wear my dress.

I think I have the perfect tiara and jewellery to wear with it and it's going to be amazing.

I'm never usually this excited but this time, for some reason I'm really looking forward to it.

Lexie walks in and sits next to me, "how was dress shopping?"

"Amazing!" I say

"Your going to have to show me a picture" she says

"I can't, I forgot to take any and I sent it off to get it shortened because well. I'm short" I say and she laughs

I notice Alex sit next to Olly who is talking to Izzy from across the table.

"You guys! We need to go to this waterpark this weekend!" Lucy says sitting down

"Yes!" Izzy says, "I love water rides!"

"Me too!" Lexie beams

"When do you want to go?" Daniel asks

"Sunday?" Lucy asks

"I'm free"

"Same"

"Let's do it"

"Ella, are you coming?" She asks me

"I can't go" i say

"Aw why not?" Gracie asks me

"It's my cousins birthday" I say and she nods

"A birthday?" Lexie whispers laughing slightly

"I put was on the spot to lie" I whisper back and she tries not to laugh beside me

"What about you Alex?" Lucy asks

"Yeah, Mary's closing work early" he says

"Why?" I ask

"Her other sister is flying in so they are all having the day off" he tells me and i nod

"Well then, you'll have to come with us another time" Lucy says and i nod

"Definitely" I say

Definitely not.

I can't be bothered.

My phone buzzes and i get a message from Emma.

I click on it and it's a picture of her and Cruz.

I turn to Izzy, "guess who's with Cruz?"

I show her the picture and she gasps, "they are so cute together!"

"I know, I'm so happy for her" i say

"Me too!" She says

"Are you getting your nails done tonight?" She asks me

"Yeah I'm getting all prepared so I'm not rushing the night before. Having my hair styled at my house and then it's fancy cars and champagne all night" I say and she laughs

"It's sounds like so much fun" she says

"You should come!" I say

"Your kidding right? You've seen the princes diaries her life gets turned upside down!" She says and I laugh

"Do you have a date?" She asks me

"Who has a date?" Gracie asks

"Ella for her cousins birthday meal" Izzy says

"My family is quite posh so they go over the top" i say

"Well do you?" Lucy asks

"No, I don't need a date. Not with my outfit" i say and Izzy and Lexie chuckle

"Has anyone else noticed how good Ellas posture is?" Gracie says all of a sudden and everyone looks at me

"What do you mean? It's how a posture should be" i say

"I've never seen you slouch" Lucy says taking a drink out of her water bottle

"It makes me feel taller" i say and Lexie laughs

"And you talk really posh" Olly says

"How ridiculous! I do no such thing!" I say

"Yes you do" Alex says

"Your so posh" Olly says laughing slightly

All of them.

I'm just joking... ish

"It's just the way ive been brought up" i say and they all nod before changing the subject.

"So how is Alex?" Lydia asks me

"Will you give it a rest" i say turning my attention to the women doing my nails

"Who's Alex?" One of them ask

"Her man, who's not her man, who should be her man" Izzy says and I roll my eyes

"Give it a rest, I like being on my own. I really do, I wake up every morning and i thank god that I don't have some boy controlling me life. I'm free and I'm single. And it's great" i say

"Did you just quote and change Mamma Mia to your life?" Izzy asks me and I look away and they all laugh

"Your just saying that because you've never been in a relationship" Izzy says

"You've not been in a relationship?" The woman asks me

"No, not had the need to or had the time to manage one" i tell her and she nods

"Well whatever happens I the main thing is that your happy" the woman tells me.
