It's been a week, it's Christmas Eve.
I've still been talking to Alex a lot. I've found that a conversation just flows really well between us and it's not awkward.
Izzy and Lydia have checked in on me a few times.
I sit up and gasp.
I've not bought anyone any Christmas presents.
"Shit!" I practically shout
"Oh no, shit, shit, shit, shit!" I mumble scrambling out of bed.
What am I going to do?
I rush into my mums room, "mum... are we swapping gifts this year?"
"Yeah why? Have you forgotten?" She asks narrowing her eyes at me
I scoff, "of course not!"
"Okay!" She says and i rush back into my room and FaceTime Alex
"What's up?" He asks answering almost instantly
"I'm facing a crisis" i say
"Go on"
"I've forgotten to buy my family Christmas presents" I say and he cringes
"You know it's Christmas Eve right?" He asks
"Yes I know it's Christmas Eve! That's why I'm panicking!" I say
"Alright calm down, we can figure this out for you" He says before laughing, "who am I kidding your fucked"
"Alex!" I whine, "you meant to be helping me!"
"Fine, we've got this. Let's start with your mum" he says
"Right, like... a bath set or something. Right that works" I say
"Your dad" he says
"Ummm...." i trail off
"Okay let's get back to that" he says and i nod
"Lizzie" he says
"Easy, I'll just get like a massive Teddy bear for her or something" I say
"Emma" he asks
"Ill get her concert tickets, or theatre tickets..." i trail off and i gasp, "I'll get her Hamilton tickets! Oh my good I'm on a roll!"
He laughs, "Leo"
I freeze, "I'm not on a roll"
"Okay we'll come back to it. Who else?" He asks
"My grandma" i say
"Easy, some slippers or something and your done" he says and i chuckle
"Back to your dad" he says
"A record player, a little blast from the past" i say and he smiles at me
"And Leo?" He asks
"I honestly don't know" i say
"What does he like?" He asks me
"Chocolate..." i say and he laughs
"I could get him tickets to Cadbury world" i say and Alex laughs
"Sounds like a plan" he says with a smile

I've spent all day buying tickets and shopping for presents.
I got Sam to help me with shopping, we went in disguise to a shopping centre and it worked really well actually.
