It's 6th period and Alison, Hanna and Spencer are sitting in the back of Mr. Fitz's class. Emily just walked in and she takes the empty seat next to Alison.
Mr. Fitz: Okay class. I want the people in the first row to turn to the people in the second row. I want the people in the third row to turn to the people in the fourth row and people in the fifth row, turn to the person next to you.
Student: Umm Mr. Fitz, there is no one here for me to turn around to.
Noel Kahn walks in.
Mr. Fitz: Ms. St. Germain, you can partner with Noel. Noel, could you help me pass out the games, please?
Noel: Sure.
Spencer and Hanna turn their desks toward each other and Emily and Alison do the same.
Emily: You alright?
Alison: Yeah.
Mr. Fitz and Noel hand out activities for each pairng to do. Noel walks over to his table.
Noel: We get Connect Four!
Maya: I will kick your but in this game.
Noel: We'll see.
As Mr. Fitz is handing out games on the other side of the classroom, Noel walks up to Alison and Emily's table and they are handed a pack of UNO cards. He hands Spencer and Hanna the SCRABBLE game.
Hanna: Seriously? I have to play Scrabble with Spencer?
Noel: You get what you get.
Spencer: I'll take it easy on you Hanna.
Hanna looks at Spencer with a "Yeah right" look and then looks at Emily.
Spencer: What? (She turns around and looks at Emily.)
Hanna: Em, can we...
Emily: Nope!
Emily starts laughing.
Hanna: I hate you guys.
Spencer: You ready to get your butt kicked?
Hanna: No.
Spencer opens the scrabble box and sets up the game. At the table next to them, Alison takes out the cards.
Emily: Can I shuffle?
Alison hands her the cards.
Alison: You know, I'm pretty good at this game!
Emily: Oh really?
Emily passes out seven cards to Alison and herself and puts down a red 8 card.
Alison: Yup! I apologize beforehand for kicking your ass!
Emily: Uhh, yeah right.
Emily starts laughing.nThey both pick up their cards and organize them by color.
Alison: You first and are we playing color stacksies or regular?
Emily: We can play color stacksies. (She puts down a red 3 card a red 9 card and a red 4 card.) Still think you can beat me?!
Alison: (She puts down a red 7 card, a red 5 card.) Give it time!
Emily puts down a green 5 card and a green 2 card. Alison puts down a green 6 card, a green 3 card and a green 8 card.
