10. Chapter

17th November, Tuesday, 5:00 pm

"Yeah, see you tomorrow!"

"Get home safely!"

(Y/N) quickly opened the backdoor, waving weirdly as he closed it behind him, standing now outside of the small restaurant.

'Oh god, please let him come, please, I just wanna get over with this.' With a sigh the male got out of his thoughts and looked around, seeing nobody near or coming closer.

'Ah shit...idiot' pouting a bit he now made his way out of the alley, to the main street.

"It was such a good plan..." muttering to himself he looked around, still having his hopes up that the other one would come.

But...no...nobody familiar was on the streets today.

"Buh"

"Oh my fucking god!"

(Y/N) jumped and nearly threw his head backwards as he felt someone pinching his sides.

"Oh you mother- Idiot! God damn...you got me." With some deep breaths he turned around, being greeted with the usual smile he had seen now days on Dazais face.

"What nice words to say to the one you invited" he sing-sang while holding the small paper between his pointer and middle finger, showing it off.

"Well, you scared me, not my fault this time."

"Ah yeah, I had some troubles getting away from Kunikida, he was not amused about me leaving in the middle of a job" Dazai explained with a sigh.

"You didn't have to come" the smaller male started walking into the opposite direction of the bus stations " it was just a...an idea."

"I have to say I was charmed and surprised that you already wanted to go on a date with me ag-"

"No such thing! I am in a happy relationship and I will not let you change that! Just to make things clear" with a glare he stared at the male walking besides him, which didn't seem to be imprested by his words.

"I only wanted to talk with you so that..." he looked away, not knowing how to phrase his thoughts "this is really over. Just talking about what was so important for you to just leave me on the spot" his sentence ended with some bitterness.

"When that's it, I will tell you" Dazai seemed to have a now real smile on his lips as he was looking at his ex.

"Real? That easy? Just asking?" (Y/N) was more that surprised about how easy this had been.

They now reached a popular café shop, which (Y/N) picked for their conversation.

"Sure, as long as you promise not to tell anybody else."

That was the moment when he almost lost his grip on the door.

Of course. It was not that easy.

"I guess I don't have another option, right?" rolling his eyes a little while walking over to a free table, the (H/C) haired male was not quite sure if he wanted to know the whole truth. Seemed like it was not as normal as he thought.

But it was Dazai after all. Nothing is ever normal.

After the two of them ordered something to drink, their not so deep deep-talk began.

"So, what happened back then? Where you followed and had to duck out or why so suddenly go?" (Y/N) asked, locking eyes with the other male while stirring in his drink.

"No such thing. I just dropped out" Dazai answered the question without even flinching, leaving the male in front of him a bit shocked and speechless.

"Excuse me? I think I misheard that right now blinking a few times the (E/C) eyed questioned himself "You...dropped out?"

"Yeah, I didn't want to be in there any longer. So, I just quit." he had this fake smile again which was driving the other male nuts.

"Could you please say either more or the truth? I can see that that's not all there is to it. I mean, I didn't hear from you in years after you just, 'dropped out'" (Y/N) tried his best to not be mad but to understand what he really meant with his nor so true words.

"(Y/N), I just had a reason to go. I had to cut al strings and start from the beginning again." Ending his sentence with a sip of his coffee, the brown-haired looked now no longer unnatural.

Done for today~ I don't know why, but this makes me angry and sad at the same time XD
