Gear up for Training

The rest of the day dragged on. It was all general studies. History. English. Government. Your brain hurt trying to remember all the Hero Laws that were written down. It was, however, awesome to be taught completely by pro heroes!

"Okay children. That's all for today. Please try to memorize these. It will be helpful for your future to know the rules placed on your quirks." Midnight closed her book and erased the board.

"Thank you Midnight." Mr. Aizawa entered the classroom. "Now. It's time for what you've all been waiting for I'm sure. Hero Training."

"Will you be training us, sir?" Someone asked.

Aizawa gave a heavy sigh. "No. Today it will be--" the door flung open and someone dashed in.

"ME. FOR I AM HERE!!"

"ALL MIGHT!" We screamed! Aizawa was on the floor in his yellow sleeping bag.

"COME! STUDENTS! LET US BE OFF! BUT FIRST..." he clicked a button on a small control. The other wall of the classroom came out with cases with numbers on them. "GET CHANGED YOUNG HEROS! WE MEET IN GYM E!"

Wait.....are those..... "OUR COSTUMES!!!" Everyone screamed and ran to get their cases. I waited and got mine last. We headed off once again to change. I locked the door behind me and opened case 13. It was a black full-body wet suit with blue lines throughout it with elbow-long black gloves that had beautiful blue designs and swirls on them. It came with SUPER cute boots with pumps.

You nervously look in the mirror. Since it's a wet suit it's skin tight. Your cheeks burn in a blush as you shift uncomfortably and you have no idea what to do with your hair. Should you keep the red hair down? Maybe put it up? You throw it into a bun and decide it's good enough for now. There's a knock on the door.

"Hey (L/n), you ready?" It was Omatsu. You open the door and try to stifle a laugh. "What. You don't like it?" He stuck a pose making you burst out laughing.

"You look like one of those American 80's superheroes!" His suit was yellow with green spots all over it.

"Whatever. Let's get to training with All Might!!" You run to catch up with the class.

"Last to show up again I see." Aizawa stared at you. It felt like he was staring into your soul. You look at your feet as everyone looks at you. Your face flushes in embarrassment. Way to go valedictorian. So far, you suck!

"All Right! Let's begin your first day of official training youngsters!" All Might struck a dramatical pose as he spoke. "This year will be a little different. It will be much more challenging. Today, however, we're going to focus more on your quick thinking skills instead of powering up those quirks of yours."

"Come on out brats," Aizawa shouted from his sleeping bag on the floor. The side door to the school opened and a full class of students began walking out. The first one you recognize!

"Ahhh, you were the young lady from this morning. Glad to see you again!"

Kumati elbowed your side. "How the hell do you know him?! He's the one that had a run-in with the Hero Killer last year!" She whisper yelled into your ear.

The guy stuck his hand out to you. You shake it firmly. "Nice handshake." He smiles. He had such a warm brotherly smile. You liked it. "I'm Tenya Iida."

"(Y/n) (L/n)."

"Ahem." All Might said into his hand. Your face flushes again as you noticed everyone was looking at you. "If you don't mind. Today you will constantly be pairing up with new people and figuring out a way to combine your quirks to help you in a sticky situation in battle."

"No way! We're going to be working with upperclassmen!" Kumati giggled in excitement as she gave a flirtatious wave to the boys. "Some of them are actually pretty hot don't you think?"

You glance at class 2-A. You didn't really pay attention this morning since you were in an embarrassed rush. Your body went cold when you noticed him though. "It's the guy from earlier. The one that has red eyes."

"You mean the one that shoved you and called you an asshole?"

"Huh? Oh yeah...that too."

"Everyone! Please pick a number from these boxes with your class on it" All Might held up a box in each hand. We took turns drawing our numbers. 13. Of course, you get your lucky number <3. "Remember your number for I will be drawing at random who your partner will be each turn. Let's Begin!!"

He drew numbers at random matching everyone up from both classes. My first partner taped my shoulder.

"Excuse me. Are you 13?" He had white and red hair. "I'm Shoto Todoroki."

"Hi. I'm (F/n) (L/n). Nice to meet you." You bowed and began talking quirks. He had fire and ice. How powerful you thought. Lucky! You explained your water manipulation.

"Huh so we're pretty similar. This should be easy."

"Why don't I shoot water at them and you freeze over it? Making the villain stuck in place? Even though you could do that on your own."

"I can. But it's still a combined attack so it should work." After a few minutes, All Might has everyone show a combo move against a rock-marked "villain". You circled the rock with water and Todoroki froze over it making a barrier around what would be the body.

"Not all that powerful but not bad! You focused more on restraining the villain instead of fighting. Good work!" He gave us a thumbs up. "Now. It's time for the next pair!"

Once again he called out numbers and we all teamed up. This time it was a cute guy, a hair taller than you, with green hair. His face flushes bright pink as he tried to speak to you. "U..umm...hi! My name is Izuku Midorea! I..I noticed y..you can control water. That's pretty awesome!"

You now blush. "Thanks, I'm (Full Name), you have like super strength right?" He nodded.

"Something like that. So I..I already had some ideas if you don't mind."

"Not at all. Whatcha got?" He suggested an evade attack where he goes in for a punch and I use my water to pull him out of the way so he wouldn't get hit back. "That's a great idea! Wow Midorea you're really smart at this!"

He blushed again and rubbed the back of his head "thanks! I've been studying heroes for a long time."

"All Right kids! Are you ready?!" All Might posed by the "villain". "Let's go! Starting with young Midorea and Young (L/n)!"

You performed the move you talked about. Although you almost lost grip on Midorea trying to pull him back, causing a bit of a delay.

"Impressive! Both offense AND defense! With more work that could be one Epic Move!"

You bow to All Might. "Thank you sir! Your words mean a lot!"

He gave you a thumbs up and a wink. "Any time! Next pair!" You two stepped out of the way and watched the rest of the pairs go. Some of them REALLY worked well together! Class 2-A had some AMAZING quirks!

"Alright! Last and final pairing!" All Might called out. You were pretty sad that training went by so fast. He called out his number when he got to yours. "Next pair...13 and 13." Midorea gave you a nervous glance as the last person you wanted to work with stepped up to you. It was the red-eyed, blond hair wall of a guy. He glared down at you (since he was much taller than you!), The glare alone scared you to your core.
