Opposites (Bakugo x Reader)

Class A

He opened the door that lead outside. "Holy crap it's night! How long was I out?!"

"A few hours." You walked next to each other all the way back to your dorm.

"That's weird. All the lights are on in the main room."

"Maybe one of your friends?"

"I don't think I have any friends. Only two people talked to me this morning from my class."

"Well. You got me." He patted your shoulder. "Let me walk you in just in case it's Mr. Aizawa waiting." You nodded.

"Thanks again Shoto." You opened the front door and the common space was full!

"(F/n)!! You're okay!!!" Kumati squeezed you in a tight hug. We couldn't sleep till you came back. You looked over her shoulder and saw your entire class plus class 2-A!

Midorea got up from the couch, "hey! It's nice to see you again! You look much better!" You gave him the best smile you could muster.

"Thanks Midorea. You guys didn't have to wait for me."

"Nonsense!" Tenya Iida was right behind him giving you that warm smile again. "It's simply what classmates and friends do for each other!"

"Friends?" You look around at them. Do they see you as a friend? After just a day?

"All right, let's party!" The pink girl from class 2 whose name you missed called out. Music began to play from the speakers by the TV. You try your best to remain calm with many people surrounding you asking if you were okay. Your eyes dart around nervously looking for any excuse to get away. It was getting hard to breathe again. DAMN ANXIETY!!

BOOM! The front door to the dorm smashed open as Bakugo had kicked it in. "Oi oi oi! What's with all the noise?!" Your hands began to shake. Shoto and Tenya were yelling at Bakugo about his rude entrance. You glanced over and saw the side door to the patio. Air. You need air!

You quietly crept behind everyone looking at the front door so no one noticed you quietly opening and closing the side door behind you. You leaned on the rail getting control of your oncoming breakdown. "You're okay. It's just noise. You gotta control it." You took a deep breath and looked up at the moon. It was so beautiful and full tonight. Looking at the night sky always seemed to calm you down.

You could hear the music playing inside and everyone having a good time. But you felt at home out here. Whoosh! "What are you doing out here waterworks? The party in there is for you after all." You spin around quickly to see him leaning against the door looking at you.

"If it was for me there wouldn't be a party." You quietly scoff as you turn back around to look at the moon. "Why are you out here? You're the loud life of the party."

"Tch. Watch it waterworks." Your cheeks burn in a blush.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" He put his hands on the rails looking out to the forest.

"Look. I'm just here cuz....Aizawa wanted me to apologize for scaring you during training." You looked at him surprised. Him? Apologize?!

"Tell Mr. Aizawa I said thank you. But it wasn't your fault." You let out a sigh.

"What the hell did happen anyway?" He raised an eyebrow at you. "You don't look like you got hurt.

"It's....its nothing I just.....got tired from overusing my quirk?" Crap! That wasn't supposed to come out like a question!

"Don't tell me. Whatever. It's not like I care."

"Then don't ask asshole!" You turn and leave. You go straight to your room. Midorea calls after you trying to stop you.

"Wait! (L/n)! What's wrong? You're pale. Areyougonnapassoutmaybeweshouldtakeyoutorecoverygirl!! He looked around panicked.

"No no no I'm okay just...embarrassed. and I wanna change out of my suit."

"Why would you be embarrassed?" He tilted his head. He odly reminded you of a puppy. Or a little brother.

You feel your face burn in a blush just thinking about it. "Cuz I...I passed out during the first day of training."

"So? Things happen."

"You wouldn't understand Mi-"

"Actually I do. More than anyone. My first year I had no control over my quirk. Every time I used it I got badly hurt. Almost every time blacking out and waking up in the nurse's office. It took me a very long time to finally get control over it." He gave you that smile again. "So don't feel embarrassed. No one's perfect. Especially during your first year! Just keep training!" He held a closed fist out. I smiled and gave him a fist bump.

"Thanks Midorea. I needed to hear that. But I do honestly just want to change and go to bed though." He nodded.

"No problem I'll tell everyone that you were tired. I'll see you around!" He waved and went back to everyone. "Oh, hey Ka--" you close your door behind you and let out a sigh. What a long day.

You put your suit back into its case and close it tight. You snuggle up under your thick fuzzy blanket and pass out. Having a surprising relaxed dream of just hanging out and being friends with Midorea, Kumati, Omatsu, and....Bakugo?!
