Opposites (Bakugo x Reader)

You wake up early and head out with Tsu and Midnight to the Lake training ground. Midnight was the only teacher willing to spend a day out in the cold to let us train. Tsu jumped into the water and began her own training while you use your suit to glide across the water. Making targets and cutting them down. Trapping others in bubbles. Practicing heating and cooling water. Your goal was to freeze it into ice. You touched the side of the pond and concentrated. Thinking about snow, ice, anything freezing. You slowed your breath as the cold spread over your body. You close your eyes and just focus. Losing feeling in your fingers. You hear Tsu scream and jump out of the water.

"You're doing it! Ribbit!" She cheers behind you. You slowly open your eyes to see the water frozen. "(F/n) you're freezing. You okay?" You nod and put a jacket on to warm you up. Midnight calls the training.

"Alright girls. Get some rest for tomorrow. Your both going to do great!" You nod feeling a wave of pride wash over you. You gotta go tell Bakugo! Tsu walks with you as you head back to the dorm before a heavy fog surrounds you.

"What's this? Ribbit" Bakugo walked into view. "Oh. It's just you."

"Bakugo! You should have seen me! I-I actually--"

"Shut up!" He screamed. You stopped in your tracks. "All you do is talk! Just SHUT UP!!"

"Bakugo that's pretty harsh." Tsu chimed in.

"You're too weak (F/n)! Too weak to be at this school. To be with me!"

Your lip quivers. "K-kats--"

"We're done. Piss off." He pivoted and left.

"Katsuki..." Your lip quivered as you fell to the ground. Tsu wrapped her arms around you making you fully break down. You cried and sobbed. Shaking your whole body. Tsu just stroked your hair and didn't say a word. You sat there for what felt like forever.

"We gotta get back. You can stay with me tonight ribbit." You just nod as she helps you stand and walk back to the dorm. She peeked in the front door calling for Mina and Izuku. They stepped out and saw you. You just stared at the floor as you continued to cry. Wiping your face on your sleeves as Tsu explained what happened.

"That doesn't sound like Ka-chan.." Izuku muttered.

"I know. But...I guess it is." You looked up at him. Lip still quivering. Mina ran and hugged you so tight. You didn't have the strength to hug her back. They helped rush you in and head straight up to Tsu's room. She handed you a blanket and you just curled up in a ball underneath it. Sobbing quietly. You quickly pass out and dream of nothing. Tsu wakes you up with a cup of coffee and a bottle of water. "Thanks." Your voice was coarse and barely there. Your eyes puffy and nose stuffed. She change into her gym clothes as you changed into your suit.

"Smart to use that." She smiled at you.

"It's the only way I'll have water to fight with." You put your hair into a ponytail as you drink the water then start sipping on the coffee.

"We'll be cheering for you since you go first." She gives you a big hug. "Come on. Let's get you to your class ribbit." You both leave her room.

"There you are! What the Fuck Water Works?!" Bakugo yelled down the hall. Your lip quivered as you look at him. Feeling your heart shatter once again. "What's wrong?" His eyes looked sad. That pissed you off.

You walk past him shoulder checking him hard. "Piss off. That's what you said."

"Leave her alone Bakugo. You've done enough ribbit." Mina ran out of her room and began yelling at him as you slammed the front door shut behind you. The walk to the auditorium was short and quiet. You stand at the entrance. "You got this. The girls and I will be cheering you on. Ribbit." She gave you a big hug. You actually hug her back.
