Opposites (Bakugo x Reader)

Your First Dance

You search for a long time. Remember why you hated dresses. Having a small chest made it almost impossible to find a decent-fitting dress. "I got one!" Uraraka ran over holding a black dress with a small hole in the chest and off-the-shoulder long sleeves. "It's made out of a stretchy fabric so it fits any and all curves." She smiles excitedly.

"At least it's black." You shrug and go try it on in the dressing room. She was right. It stretched to fit your form naturally. Not focusing on the chest but...you turn around. "Oh my God! I can't wear this!"

"Let us see. Why not?!" Mina called from the other side of the door. You open it blushing fiercely. "You look great!" You slowly turn to the side. The dress made your butt look HUGE. "My GOD (F/n)! Why knew your ass was that big! You show it off girl!"

"Shut up Mina! I can't wear it. Everyone will think I'm trying to show off...I just wanna blend in..."

"Why? You're gorgeous. Stand out! Plus your date is Bakugo! Your gonna stand out anyway." Uraraka just gave a thumbs up.

"It's not a date." You blush more. "He'd never date me."

"But he asked you to go."

"Kirisima talked him into that. I don't think he wants to..." You look back in the mirror.

"I'll get to the bottom of it." Mina grabbed her phone and walked away.

"Come on (F/n), you look stunning. Just get it. You deserve it." Uraraka jumped all excited as you kept looking in the mirror.

"...fine. it is the only thing that really fits anyway." You close the door and change back into your shirt and jeans.

"(F/N)!" Mina squealed through the door. That girl is so impatient sometimes. You open the door and just look at her. "Bakugo wanted to ask you before Kirisima talked to him! Kirisima just made him go through with it...don't you see?" There's no way. "Bakugo LIKES you!!!" She grabs your hand and giggles in excitement. You feel so relieved but confused. Why? Why you?

You buy the dress and go back to the dorms. Bakugo leaves his room a little more than usual but the next week flies by. Before you know it it's Friday. When you told Kumati she nearly fell out of her chair. "YOU'RE GOING WITH AN UPPERCLASSMAN?!" She screamed in the locker room. You cover her mouth as you get a few looks from other people in your class.

"Shhhh! It's just the guy that saved me that day. It's no big deal." He likes you!! Minas voice echos in your head. The more you thought about it you came to the conclusion...

"But you do like him." Kumati smiled as she stared deep into your eyes.

You blush. "M-maybe. I don't know. I've never done this before..."

"What have a date to a dance?"

"Anything. Go to a dance. Have a crush. Have a boyfriend. Any of that. I don't know what I'm feeling....if it's what it's like in shows then...I really like him."

"Because he saved you?" Kumati raised an eyebrow?

"No...actually. Because he's...so opposite of me. He really is cute. And his eyes are so..expressive"

"Look at my (F/n), growing up and liking a boy." She hugged you tight. "Omatsu and I can't wait to see you all dolled up tonight!"

"You're going?!"

"With friends yes. He mainly wants to see you in a dress." You roll your eyes.

"Then I'll see you guys tonight." Izuku meets you outside and you do your best to calm his nerve about tonight. He's terrified to actually dance with Uraraka. He's so innocent. You smile at him. "Let's hurry back. You gotta get ready." You pinch his cheek making him blush.
