   Y/N'S POV

  I looked over at Apollo, who was sitting on the couch looking towards the front door. Apollo was my male, retired MWD. MWD stood for Military Working Dog. Apollo had been under my care for so long, but I wondered if it felt like too long to him.
  I didn't know much about Apollo's previous owner while serving his country, but I did know that Apollo was capable of thinking on his own and doing what he wanted to do. Dogs were smart. Apollo was very smart, but I wondered whether he was happy.

  Whether Apollo felt safe and well taken care of here.

  I walked over to the couch and Apollo immediately sat up.

  I kissed his head and said,"Nope. You stay where you were at first. Don't move because of me."

  Apollo jumped off the sofa, before he turned back around and jumped into my lap. I kept him from falling and held him close in my arms.

  Apollo closed his eyes as I leaned on him saying,"I hope you're happy here. I'll keep doing whatever I can to make sure of that. Hopefully, you're not tired of me yet."

  I heard my phone upstairs and Apollo rushed to go get it for me. I smiled and waited for him to return. When he returned with my phone, I wiped the phone off and answered the call.

  "Hello?"

  The other voice said,"Y/N, I need you to talk to Han."

  I blushed and said,"Han? What for and why me?"

  Dom answered,"I need him. He's family. I won't turn my back on him. Can you talk to him, Y/N?"

  I held Apollo's paw and said,"I'll talk to him, Dominic. The least I can do for my brother that saved my life several times over. What exactly am I talking to Han about?"

  Dom laughed, but he said,"He doesn't want to come back to race. Remind him that his family's waiting right here for him."

  I smiled and said,"That's cute, Dom. That's very cute. I'll remind him. Just send me the address for wherever he is right now, and I'll make my way there."

  Dom said,"I love you, Y/N."

  I said,"I love you, too, Dom. Bye."

  I hung up and Dom sent me the address. After about thirty minutes, I was ready to leave the house and waited on Apollo to get the toys that he wanted to bring with him.
  When Apollo made his final decision, I chuckled and let him go outside. I locked the front door behind me and raced Apollo to the car. However, I still had to jog over to the passenger's side and open the door for him.

  He jumped up onto the seat and I buckled him in. I closed the door and walked over to the driver's side, quickly closing the door behind me. I quickly started the car and pulled out of the driveway.
  It took me twenty minutes to get to Han's place. I let Apollo out, before I walked up to Han's front door and knocked on it. I heard something fall on the other side of the door, which caused Apollo to sit up.

  However, Han opened the door and smiled at me saying,"Hey, Y/N. What are you doing here?"

  I said,"I wanted to talk to you, if you're not busy."

  Han replied,"I'm not busy at all. Please come inside. Hey, Apollo."

  Apollo stayed close to Han and I smiled. I sat down on the couch and Han sat down beside me.

  He asked me,"What did you want to talk to me about? Coming back?"

  I opened my mouth to speak, but then I closed my mouth.

  Han chuckled and said,"I figured that's why you were here. Very smart of Dom to send you here to talk to me."

  I nodded saying,"Very smart of him, yes. Why won't you come back?"

  Han said,"I don't know if I'm any good at racing any more, Y/N. It just feels like I'm not where I should be at anymore."

  I looked over at Apollo and back at Han saying,"Han, you can't be serious. This is you I'm taking to. You're good at what you do and no one else can take that talent from you. Dom wants you back, because you're family and because you're great at many things. I'm sorry about what happened to you, but you shouldn't let that stop you from being at home surrounded by people who love you. Surrounded by people who want to see you do what you do best."

  Han just looked at me, yet he finally asked me,"Will you be there, Y/N, to support me? Every race?"

  I leaned over and kissed his cheek saying,"Of course, I will definitely be there. Apollo will be there, too, for the attention of course."

  Han chuckled and Apollo barked at me.

  I held Apollo in my arms and said,"You know I'm joking, Apollo. You know I'm joking."

  Han kissed my cheek this time and I buried my face in Apollo's fur.

  Han asked me,"Would you and Apollo like to stay a little longer? Watch a movie?"

  I said,"We would like to stay a little longer and watch a movie."

  Han said,"Great."

   3 DAYS LATER...

  Ugh, what was it with these guys and their egos? I don't care about your car and I don't care about you. I was only worried about....

  "Y/N?"

  Han smiled at me and said,"You came. Where's Apollo?"

  I said,"Apollo's off with Dom somewhere."

  Han nodded and asked me,"Can I talk to you for a minute?"

  I nodded and followed Han over to the other side of the event.

  He asked me,"What would you say to joining me for a date after the race?"

  I said,"I'd love to go on a date with you. Good luck, Han."

  Han said,"Thank you, Y/N."
