   Y/N'S POV

  It was too hot outside, but I promised Dom I'd stay at this cookout until everyone had left to go home. But guess what? Everyone was still here, enjoying sitting in 96° weather with zero shade.

  Brian walked over to me and asked me,"Are you enjoying yourself, Y/N?"

  It was too hot to talk, so Brian just chuckled and said,"Dom, Y/N's not going to make it."

  Dom said,"She'll make it, O'Conner. She just wants attention."

  I went to respond to my lovely brother, Dominic Toretto, but it was still too hot. Where was the shade? Where was it?

  Tej walked up behind my chair and said,"Here, Y/N. This might help."

  I blushed, but I took the water from Tej saying,"Thank you, Tej."

  He nodded, before Roman smirked at me. I only rolled my eyes.

  Brian said,"So, Y/N, you can talk to Tej but not me?"

  I said to Brian,"Sorry, Brian. It's just...really hot out here. You know I love you more than Dom."

  Brian smiled and handed me another cup of water, then Letty said,"Y/N, I'm going inside for a little bit. You wanna join me?"

  I got up out of my seat saying,"Sure! Dom, did you hear that? Letty asked me to go inside. I'm not just going inside to go inside."

  Letty chuckled saying,"Come on, Y/N."

  Letty led me inside. I immediately sat down in front of the nearest fan and closed my eyes.

  Letty asked me,"Ready to get back out there, Y/N?"

  I shook my head saying,"No. Just give me a minute."

  Letty laughed at me, but I opened my eyes and watched Letty go back outside.

  I focused back on the fan in front of me, but Roman walked inside saying,"Y/N, what have you been hiding from us all this time?"

  I said,"Roman, what are you talking about?"

  Everyone walked into the house, which caused me to get a little scared.

  Brian said,"Y/N, how come you never told us about this?"

  I stood to my feet and said,"Brian, what's that on your phone? Let me see what you're looking at."

  I walked up to Brian and kept trying to get his phone from him. When he grew tired of messing with me, he let me see what he had been looking at.

  I sighed saying,"It's not a big deal. It's just something I do to keep myself from pulling all of my hair out."

  Mia frowned saying,"Y/N, you're a really good dancer. You used to dance a lot, but I didn't know you were doing it again. Why didn't you tell any of us?"

  I admitted to Mia,"I didn't tell any of you, because it's the one thing I'm good at. It bothers me that I can't race like the rest of you can. You're all family to me, but I always feel like I need to hide the one thing I'm good at because it's not what you're all really good at. It just makes me feel out of place, really. It makes me feel like I still have to earn being around all of you every day."

  Dom walked up to me and hugged me.

  I hugged him back and Dom said,"You're my sister and I love you. I don't care if you can't race like the rest of us. Family is family. You have your own heart, your own talents. I just want you to be happy. If dancing makes you happy like it used to, you keep dancing. But if you want us there whenever you need your family, we'll support you."

  I smiled up at Dom, but I looked at everyone else saying,"You guys would come just to support me?"

  Roman said,"Of course, Y/N."

  Tej nodded saying,"I would come just to support you, Y/N."

  Mia hugged me saying,"You're my sister. I'll support you, no matter what."

  I hugged Mia back, then Ramsey waved saying,"I'm sorry that I'm late, but I'll support you, Y/N. I love you to death."

  I waved back to Ramsey saying,"Thank you, Ramsey. I love you, too."

  I took a deep breath, before I said to everyone,"I actually have a performance next week. Well, my group has a performance next week. It's nothing major. It's just to really get me used to being in front of crowds again."

  Brian said,"We'll all be there, Y/N."

  Hobbs walked into the house and held out his arms saying,"Little Lady, bring it in. Why're we all inside instead of outside?"

  I hugged Hobbs and immediately said,"You're late, Luke, but I'll let it slide this time. Also, we're fine inside. We're fine."

  Tej said to me,"Maybe you could show us some of those moves you did in that video while we're outside?"

  I chuckled saying,"Maybe, but how would you feel about getting something together this weekend?"

  Hobbs looked at Tej and said,"Tej, what's your answer?"

  Tej walked up to me and took my hand saying,"I'd love to, Y/N."

  Tej kissed my hand and walked out with Roman and Brian.

  Mia pinched my cheeks and said,"Y/N, you're blushing!"

  Letty laughed at me once again.

  I groaned saying,"Shut up, Letty."

  Roman said from the other side of the front door,"Come on outside, Y/N. Time's up. It's beautiful out here."

  Dom chuckled saying,"Come on, Y/N."

  I groaned again saying,"I can't. I don't feel too good. I'd better stay inside."
