(Gabby's POV)
Memories from last night flushed into my mind as I woke up. I remember that I forgot to clean up the glass I broke.
I sat up and stretched letting a small yawn slip out my mouth. I swung my legs over the bed and stood up.
It was freezing so I turned the heat on, on my way down the stairs. There was broken glass all over the floor. To be honest I don't know what got into me last night. I guess I was fed up.
I grabbed the broom and dust pan out of the linen closet and swept up the mess. When I finished I sat down to think.
I don't think it's a good idea for me to let Matt in. He's just wasting his time on me,when he could be getting so many other girls that are way prettier and skinner than me.
I don't want to ruin his life like I do to everyone else's.

I went to a little coffee shop downtown for breakfast. "What can I get for you" the waiter asked. "Can I get a coffee with two sugars and a little creamer. "Yeah is that it" "Yeah" I studied his features. He had light brown hair, brown eyes and a very defined jaw. He wasn't that bad looking. "Okay your coffee will be ready shortly.
He came back with my coffee a few minutes later. I was in the middle of drinking it when someone walked through the door. I looked up to meet eye contact with Matt. I quickly looked down at the table. I heard footsteps coming closer and I already knew who it was.
He sat down across from me and waited for the waiter I guess. "Gabby" he said. I ignored him. "Gabby" I ignored I'm once again. I finished my coffee and got up to leave. But before I could get out the door he grabbed my wrist. "Gabby why are you ignoring me?" he asked with sadness in his voice.
I looked down avoiding eye contact because it would make me feel even more worse for doing this to him. He put his index finger under my chin making me look at him. "Please" he pleaded. I'm such a cruel person for doing this to such a sweet person.
I just shook my head and got out of the grasp he had on me. Before I opened the door I looked back to see a tear slide down Matt's face, but he quickly wiped it off. What have I done?
