The One They All Love

They all went down to the ballroom and there were so many people, more than last year. There are a few people from Hogwarts too, Parkinson's, the Greengrass family, and others. Elle could see how Draco got annoyed and she just smiled.

"Just calm down Draco, I'm here" she smiled
"I'm calm, I'm the calmest person in this room," said Draco in sarcasm
"Okay let's just greet some people and then we'll just be in a corner and watch people"
"Okay, okay. Just not the Greengrass family and the Parkinsons, they... my father was arranging me a marriage before you came along and they were one of them" said Draco
"Ten times better, I get to provoke people" she smiled, and Draco sight
"C'mon let's go"

He said and they started walking in the crowd, Elle was holding Scorpius, and Draco's arm was around her waist. They came to some people and they were all obsessed with Scorpius, they listened to the same sentences over and over

"He has his mother's eyes"
"He looks just like Draco"
"And he is obviously blonde"
"He is so handsome"

They came to the Greengrass family in Draco was so nervous. 'This is going to be a disaster', he thought. They came there and he could see Astoria getting angry, 'oh god' he thought. Elle smiled and met her parents

"Hello, Elle Daaé. Nice to meet you"
"Lee Greengrass, pleased to meet you. This is my wife Diana Greengrass" said Astoria's father
"Nice to meet you Elle, congratulations on your newborn" she smiled
"Nice to meet you too and thank you," said Elle
Draco was just quiet he didn't want to say anything
"It must be hard attending Hogwarts while you have a son at home"
"Well we just really miss him through the year but we see him every break so I guess it's fine. And we have only this year and the next to complete" Elle said
"Where is the baby meanwhile then?" asked Lee
"With my parents, now if you excuse us we have to get to some more people" He turned his head toward Elle
"Viens on y va, ils m'énervent" said Draco into Elle's ear and pulled her away
"Want to get something to drink?"
"Why are you so rude to them?" said Elle
"Astoria was ready to fucking rip you apart right there and I had to pull you away, now what do you want to drink?"
"Okay, um... Rosé please" she smiled

Draco went to get the drinks, Elle waited there with her baby, and then someone came behind her

"Hello"
Elle turned around
"Étien! I haven't seen you since the last time I was here. I missed you" she said and hugged him
"I missed you too Elle, is this the baby?"
"He looks like it" laughed Elle
"Yeah that was a stupid question" laughed Étien
"What is his name?"
"Scorpius Grey Malfoy," said Elle
"He sure does looks like his father doesn't he?"
"Please no more of these, me and Draco are listening to it the whole night now over and over and it's getting on our nerves"
"Okay" smiled Étien
"Hello little man, I'm uncle Étien" he shook the baby's hand
"So how are you?" he asked Elle
"Umm... good, we are very happy as you can see. Draco is crazy about Scorpius, that's basically it, there's literally nothing going on. How are you?"
"I'm okay you know. Still didn't find the love of my life but Daphne Greengrass looks good, I think I'm going to introduce myself after I'm done with you. She's okay right?"
"I don't know her that good but I just know her sister was supposed to marry Draco," said Elle
"Ohhh drama, I like it. I'm going in" Elle laughed
"Go get yo girl Étien," she said, they both laughed and he walked to Daphne
"I see Étien found someone new," said Draco from behind Elle and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind
"I'm happy for him, and I got rid of one more guy... but now I have to stop the married men who are looking at me, I don't think that it's actually worth it," she said when Draco kissed her cheek

Elle could feel a pair of two eyes looking at them but she didn't know who it was. She looked around and saw no one

"Draco..." she whispered
"What?"
"Do you feel someone staring too?"
"Yeah, do you know who it is?"
"No"
"Let's just ignore it okay?"
"Yeah, the dinner will be served soon anyways"
