You're Engaged to WHO?

"Kenzie, I'm engaged to Kevin Jonas!"
"Dani, you aren't making this up, are you?"
"No, I'm not, Kenzie. In fact, I told their family all about you and my family and Denise told me to tell you that you are welcome to come out here to their family home in Texas to meet them and stay out here with them and help me plan my wedding."
"I don't know what to say, but I'd love to and I'll pack up right away and Cami and I'll head out as soon as we can."
"Great! I can't wait to see you and I can't wait for you to meet Kevin."

We hung up and I bounced Cami around the room for a good 20 minutes before I set her on my bed and began to pack. As I was packing I began to remember things Dani had told me a while ago. About 6 months ago, when I started living here with Cami, Dani had moved out of her parents' house and moved across the street from me. She'd been in and out except when she was on dates or traveling to see her boyfriend who at the time I only knew as "Kevin". Well, she had met him when her family was on vacation a few years ago just after her graduation and Livvie's disappearance. And now I had found out that "Kevin" was really Kevin Jonas and Danielle was about to marry him and I was going to travel to Texas to meet him, see her and meet the whole Jonas family.

When I arrived at the airport the next morning pushing Cami in her stroller and lugging 2 suitcases, 2 carry-ons and my guitar case, I picked up our tickets and walked over to the waiting area to await our flight to Texas.
"Cami, are you as excited as I am about meeting the Jonas Brothers(whispered)? Of course, you don't even know who they are, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. And I can't believe I'm talking to a 1-year old like you're a grown-up." As I'm shaking my head at myself, my phone rings.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Miss Davis? This is Denise Jonas. Danielle asked me to coordinate your flight into Dallas and make sure you have a ride waiting when you get here."
"Mrs. Jonas, Dani has told me so much about you, it'll be great to meet you." I said.
"Please, call me Denise. Our family is just as excited to meet you. Dani has talked of you just as much. My family's security guard Rob will be waiting for you with my son Joe. I figured, from what Dani told me that of all our family, Joe's the one you'll be most likely to recognize."

"Yeah, I'll admit that I'm a bit of a fan," I admitted, "Oh, and I'm raising my niece, so if Joe's picking me up, he'll need to bring a car seat for her."
"Ok, I'll make sure that one is installed in his car before he comes to pick you up," Denise confirms, "Do you need a forward or rear facing one?"
"Rear facing," I answered, "She's only just over 1 year old."
"Alright, yeah, it'll be in his car for the little one when you get here. We can't wait to meet you and your little one," Denise confirmed.
