"Well, I remember that I am the stepmother to my niece, that I have 3 kids of my own and I'm married to the love of my life," I told him, "Is that what you were hoping to hear? I love you, Joe and nothing is going to change that. Not even a coma."
"That's good to hear, cause I love you too," Joe said as he reached with one hand to hold mine while steering with the other. I drifted off to sleep, my hand still in his and didn't wake up until we were pulling into his family's driveway, where I felt him squeeze my hand and I opened my eyes.
"Are we there now?" I said, as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.
"Yup," Joe told me, "I called ahead when we were a half hour away so that they could get the guest room on the main floor ready for you to rest in."
As Joe got out of the car to get Gabi, Kevin and Dani came out to get Connor and Alexis out of the car while Cami climbed out herself carrying her own guitar and mine. Nick came out to help me out of the car and into the wheelchair. He pushed me into the house while I held a box of books on my lap that I would use to entertain myself with while I was still recuperating. I would eventually spend 2 months recovering, splitting my time between reading and writing music. Nothing too exciting happened after that, just the normal family of a rock star stuff. The band stayed together for the next 6 years and after that decided to go their separate ways to pursue other interests.
From this point on my story had a very happy ending. I had gone from growing up an ordinary girl with my best friend, from losing my sister, to raising my niece, from meeting the Jonas Brothers, to helping organize a Jonas wedding. From falling in love with one of the brothers, to having a broken heart when the one I loved had a girlfriend, from leaving the only real family I had, to staying away from them because I was pregnant. My life had lots of ups and downs but finally I was happily married to the love of my life with 4 kids. I am now a retired singer that has settled into a wonderful family life with a former rock star for a husband.

The End.
