Characters and Context

Manik Malhotra: The Prince of the silver screen. The heartthrob of the nation. 26 yrs old, flamboyant, spunky suave. He can make any girl drool and ogle with dirty thoughts at him. However, good looks is not the only weapon of his by which he is ruling the Tinseltown for the last five years. In this half-decade, he has proved his acting skill many times and acquired almost every award. Fans call him the 'Prince of Romance' whether critics arch their brows by saying, "He is lucky with charming appearance and good scripts." But the bottom line is, "He is the one and only Manik Malhotra. No one can ignore his charisma except one. Who? Well...we will know very soon.

Nandini Murthy: She is the fairy tale princess of Indian cinema. Her seraphic face and conviction in the acting field make the audience believe in fantasy. Her tears make them sob while her smile brightens up the screen. In her 22 yrs of age, she has gained the title of 'Tragedy Queen' of the silver screen. Although she never aspired of being an actress. She always wanted to live a simple, conventional life, far away from this spotlight. However, destiny had some other plan. Once a kindergarten teacher became the most loved actress of Indian cinema. This silver screen has not only changed her fate financially but also emotionally. This industry has given her name, fame and recognition but snatched the most valuable quality of hers....her innocent heart. The 'Queen of Love' often sheds tears in the search for her true love in her lonely time. Why?....will be revealed soon.

Komolika Khanna: The bombshell of Bollywood movies. Ironically, she is popular for portraying negative characters on the silver screen, however, in real life, she is quite opposite of her on-screen characters. She is fun-loving, boisterous and sassy. Unfortunately, this nature of hers often gets misunderstood by others. People and her contemporaries consider her as clingy except Manik Malhotra. For him, she is the ultimate fun, a reliable friend to whom he can be emotionally naked. As usual, paparazzi often links them as an off-screen couple and both of them laugh on their yellow journalism. But sometimes wrong speculations can make other's life a mess. We will see, how.

Arnav Singh Raizada: A renowned producer and owner of one of the biggest production houses. A good friend of Nandini. He is married to his childhood friend Khushi and for that, thankful to Nandini to make Khushi realise her love for him. Otherwise, this love story could have been another unsung saga of unfulfilled love. Arnav knows Nandini in and out and Nandini considers him as the most trusted friend of hers to whom she can share everything. However, some wounds can't be shown even to the best friend. Arnav knows about her scars and for that he hates someone to the core. Well, the feeling is mutual for that someone too. What is the reason? Maybe insecurity or jealousy. Well, the full movie is about to begin.
