Tyson POV

Things lately have been running smoothly. My doctor has put me back on tablets to help stabilize my moods and they have been doing a great job. My psycho mother has not been in the picture for a few weeks now. She no longer hangs around my work place or even comes near us if we do manage to spot her in the street. She keeps her distance and that is all we can ask for.

As for Misty and me. Things have been going awesome. She is an absolute rock for me. I can't believe I was going to throw it all away, because of my stubbornness. Mis is one amazing woman who I am lucky to call mine. She and Ryan are the lights of my life. They are who I am excited to see every day and I cannot wait to start adding more little ones to our family.

Tonight, Misty decided to take Lacy to the movies. Lacy hasn't been out of the house since the incident at the party she went to. Even though Damien was charged with attempted sexual assault and assault, Lacy still didn't feel safe outside. Laura and Misty both spoke at length on how to get Lacy back out into the world. Thankfully she accepted Misty's invite to the movies.

So it is just me and Ryan tonight, and because his mummy isn't home, we are going to eat junk food and stay up late. I know I will regret this in the morning, but then again, Ryan and I don't get to have many nights together like this.

"Ryan, my man. What do you want for dinner?" I ask my little boy. He looks at me with big brown eyes and taps his chin like he is thinking. "Izza" is his response. "High five little guy" I stick my hand out for him to give me a high five. "Best idea ever" I say to him. I grab a pizza out of the freezer and stick it in the over. "Alright, dinner will be ready in 30 minutes" I tell him.

We go and sit in the lounge room and play with his building blocks while waiting for our dinner to cook. Ryan is very creative in what he builds. "It a inoaur" he says to me. "A dinosaur?" I question. He nods his head enthusiastically at me. "It's the best dinosaur I have even seen" I tell him. We must have been playing for a good 25 minutes as the buzzer from the oven goes off.

"Let's get some food in our bellies" I say to him. We go into the kitchen and I put him in his highchair. I grab the pizza out of the over and cut it up, leaving it on the bench to cool down. I grab his sippy cup and put some apple juice and water in it. Special nights call for special drinks. I grab a can of soda for myself.

Once the pizza had cooled down enough to eat, I cut Ryan's up into bite size pieces for him and put a couple of slices on my plate. Sitting down at the table with Ryan, he gives me his best smile and starts to eat as soon as his plate is down in front of him. I just watch my little guy eat. I get lost in watching him. Still not believing this little one is a mixture of me and Misty.

Once dinner is done, I grab out a jelly cup for Ryan's dessert. He eats it like he is a man starved. I laugh at him and how he eats his jelly. "After you finish that, maybe we can watch some more tv, yeah?" I ask him. With his mouth full of food he tries to speak, but I give him one look that stops him in his tracks. "Finish your mouthful Ryan, before you try to speak to me" I tell him. He nods his head and swallows his food.

"Tv now?" he asks. I nod my head and get him out of the highchair. We go into the lounge room and I turn on the tv. I grab a Thomas the tank engine dvd that Ryan absolutely loves watching. Setting us up on the couch, Ryan cuddles into me. I have to say this is the most boring cartoon I have ever watched but it keeps Ryan entertained.

Half way through the show, Ryan gets his second wind. He gets up and jumps around on the couch. "Ryan sit down before you fall off" I tell him. Ryan doesn't listen to me and keeps jumping. I go to grab him and I miss, Ryan then falls from the couch and hits his head on the coffee table. I didn't think it was a hard hit, but when I call for him and he doesn't respond, I know straight away something isn't right.
