After I healed the ninja I left to the Kazekage's building. I went into Gaara's room, I decided to sleep in his bed. 'It's only been a bit, but I already miss you...' I think to myself before closing my eyes.
In the morning I was doing nothing but waiting for word about Kankuro and Gaara. I was extremely worried about the two. "Hmm, Temari should be back any day now too, I'll have to fill her in" I said to myself.
After a while of waiting, I finally heard of Kankuro. "___, they found Kankuro, they will be back soon" A ninja informed me and I nodded.
I waited for Kankuro to make it back. When he did they took him to the hospital. "It's a type of poison" I heard one of the ninja say. "Damn it Kankuro, you should've taken me with you" I say and clench my teeth out of anger and sadness.
I tried my best to try and find a antidote, but I wasn't a skilled enough medical ninja. I also didn't know much about poisons. So I did what I can to try and make him as comfortable as he can be.
One of the village elders came in and I stepped back for them to have some room. While they were there I decided to go and find something to eat, since I haven't eaten anything that day.
After eating I went to help clean up what the intruders left behind. I felt empty ever since Gaara was gone. We haven't been without eachother this long, and I missed him dearly. 'I should've just went with Kankuro and we could've gotten Gaara back!' I thought to myself.
That night I stayed with Kankuro, I was there to give him sedatives to ease the pain from the poison. I was sitting beside him when I heard Temari's voice. "Kankuro!" I turned to Temari and stood up.
There were 3 other ninja with him, they were from the leaf village. Then the village elder suddenly attacked one of them. After the situation calmed down, Kankuro started groaning in pain again which caught out attention.
The pink haired ninja immediately started treatment on Kankuro. She told us to clear out but I wanted to stay with Kankuro. I then got a horrible feeling all over my body. Like all my muscles started to hurt and I was feeling cold. 'What's going on?!' I thought to myself and took a seat, I ignored it so I can watch the pink haired ninja work.
I watched in a amazement how she extracted the poison only using that solution and her chakra. I could tell Kankuro was getting better already. Although it did look like it hurt, I can sometimes feel how others are feeling. Like Kankuro, even though he looks like he is hurting, I can already tell he is feeling a lot better.
After she finished I felt relieved, I sighed and smiled looking at Kankuro. 'At least I know he is going to be okay...' I thought. I stood on the sidelines watching them talk. I kind of zoned out and started thinking of Gaara. 'It hasn't been that long, but I already miss you...' I thought.
When she started giving out orders to the ninja in the room, she looked so cool. 'Wow, hidden leaf ninja really are skilled!' I thought in amazement. Kankuro soon regained consciousness. "Kankuro, are you alright?" Temari said while leaning over him.
"Temari..." Kankuro said in a hoarse voice. "You're back already..." He addded. "I heard the village was in trouble" Temari said. "I'm sorry, to be such a bother" Kankuro said. "Shut up" Temari replied. "Don't be ridiculous," She added.
"Can you lead me where Kankuro's fight took place?" The silver haired ninja said. "I'm known for having a pretty good nose for tracking, if even the slightest trace of their scent remains on the scene-" "There's no need for that..." Kankuro cut him off. He sat up groaning. "Where are my puppets? I assume my puppets were recovered, right?" He asked.
Sorry it's been a bit since I last updated, I got lazy and just finally got motivation back, since right now I'm going to be following the season as much as I can!
